Honestly one of best games I have ever played ima divide this review in 2 parts. 1st part will be spoiler free 2nd part will have spoilers for the game
Spoiler free review:
First of all it is not dark souls or bloodborne it has core of souls game but not its mechanics its far from it so if you come expecting dark souls you’ll be disappointed BUT
If you like challenging games you’ll love sekiro. The thrill and the combat is amazing and extremely satisfying the sound of clashing swords its music to my ears, bosses are awesome and engaging where battle between 2 swordmen feels like a dance, a rhythm where you both act accordingly depending on moves you preform against them. though game will get extremely hard for certain people so if you don’t have much patience or you don’t want to learn specifc boss patterns this game will not be for you. Oh ye there is no difficulty slider so ye that’s worth mentioning I think but hey there is pause button this time.And if you ever need tips or help you can add me and I can help you without problem
Skill trees are made that way where you’re never forced to pick certain skill to kill someone and you can go through entire game without them quite easily and at same time MOST skills add quite a lot on how you can fight.
World is the best ive seen from fromsoftware with vibrant colours and traditional Japanese buildings and together with beautiful background music which compliments world even more Is simply fascinating
Lore in this game is great and if you find souls lore confusing but want still want to learn about world this game is good for it since it tells story and lore much more openly but its not as big as dark souls lore since this is roleplaying game and if you know lot of or are fan of Japanese folklore you will definitely see a lot of references and resemblances of it.

Spoiler review:
I LOVE souls games and I definitely love sekiro as well it has become my favorite souls game at first I didn’t think removing stamina and replacing with posture would be great idea on paper but in game its amazing I absolutely adore that it acts like second health bar and that game encourages you to be aggressive without hesitation and take out posture bar and I hope they will do something similar with it in elden ring if it comes out:( deflecting mechanic is cool where you can deflect basically any attack as long as its not the special ones.
Game is very stable with stable framerate never crashed it had or that game froze
Now bosses many people disliked that they saw a lot of reskins but I think they misunderstood point of the game since game is literally called SHADOWS DIE TWICE it’s the theme of the game cmon you can understand by name alone that ♥♥♥♥ in this game wont die that easily besides the reskins were done greatly since they change a lot by their moveset or arena. My favorite reskin by far would be owl father he’s my favorite boss part of the reason is how different he is from owl shinobi from his moveset and circumstances on why you’re fighting him and looking back at dark souls bosses where reskin bosses where basically the same looking at you asylum demon they did a great job on it. I basically enjoyed and loved all bosses even double ape gang. And for the first time ever fromsoft actually made gimmick bosses FUN like folding screen monkeys are great they’re hard at first since you have to figure out how to get to them close and with monk giving you hints it was a lot of fun even in future playthroughs I enjoyed them and divine dragon is absolutely breath taking the music scenery is great its like yhorm but done properly. Isshin sword saint well hes something in a good way and id say hes defenitly for me atleast is hardest boss in all soulsborne sekiro but not in unfair way isshin as a character and a boss is awesome and battle where you fight at his prime is awesome in lore wise and combat wise in lore because he always wanted a good fight and he definitely got it and knows he has to kill you to restore ashine but he still treats you with respect where in first phase hes slow and is testing if you are worthy and in second he goes all in and pulls out a big ass spear and glock and its just wow and when you finally kill him he knows he has been defeated and is happy and allows you to do final deathblow without pulling anymore tricks. One of my dislikes with bosses is deathblow counter game from the start tell you you have to get each deathblow on screen but game throws you these tricks where bosses miraculously have another deathblow
One dislikes of the game is mini-bosses not mini-bosses themselves(mostly) but how they are places most mini bosses are difficult because theyre just places in small room where camera can get weird or they are just stuffed with enemies around them with atleast 5 and if youre doing challenge run for my case it was no kuro charm and bell demon defeating them became much more difficult I felt like I was FORCED to just stealth kill all enemies before fighting mini-boss or I would be completely destroyed by them and lot of them would be much more pleasing if they weren’t between whole ashine army.
Prostetics are badass I love that they are situational and not mandatory they are meant to give you extra edge in a fight like you can pull armor off from only forcertain enemies or that you can use samibaru to posion specifc enemies which are weak to it or just deal posture dmg with loaded axe which is by far my favorite mostly because its really badass ubgrading is decent for the most part only dislikes is how expensive they tend to get
Different skill trees which separated with their own unique skills and can be found throughout the world? Sign me up quz I love it and its done beautifully I love the fact you don’t get all skills trees immediately and that they are separated and located in certain places living force is my favorite skill since you can do a lot of different combos with it tho I wish it had longer effect
No kuro charm is perfect it gives players who want bigger challenge a good challenge which makes replaying the game worth it and it truly tests your skill of deflecting.

this dlc is like new game entierly just amazing better then most AAA games these days

I met Union man he gave me soup and we sat by the fireplace then he helped kill his old friend who was like giant ogre with machete for me

17.5/10 would become ogre again

Cd project red really did something incredible and wish them only good

It's good game and lot of fun

giving away 5 mil copies of payday 2 was your worst idea i would rather see armor safes with boosts for armor then seeing cheaters everywhere just beacuse of your ♥♥♥♥♥♥ anti cheat system games detects you have wrong dlc marks as cheater cheater has all skills on ace and flying around map game thinks its legit and by giving 5 mil copies every fifth lobby has cheater overkill........get better anti cheat system wich bans people for using programme like pirate perfection (pp)

great game but you should add to move wasd not mouse and arrow keys can be camera control btw cool music and pixel art :D
