Now this is a story all about how,
my life got flipped turned upside down.

I'll tell you how I became a private under the command of Big Boss.

In west Afghanistan is where I mostly stayed,
doing base patrols is how I spent most of my days.
Check it out, call in, thought it was cool,
and looking out signs of this Big Boss fool
Then I saw something that really caused me to shout,
that one eyed bastard crawlin through my patrol route.
Got shot with one little dart and my sight was gone,
he said "I'm movin you to Mother Base you'll wake up around dawn."

He whistled for D-Dog and when he came near,
he said "you're loyal to me now or he'll bite off your ear"
If anything I thought all my options were naught,
then he said "To platform 3, you're joining support!"

I stepped onto the floor from the elevator,
sat down next to this cutie thats named Red Alligator.
Looking back on my life,
it was no big loss
