tl;dr - one of the best game's I've played this year - if not the best! 10/10 masterpiece.
Buy this if you love survival horror games like RE, Metro, Dead Space etc - it's one of the best in class!

Bought in 2017 and only started in 2020 and beat the game today (2020/08/16).
Where do I begin?

I've played Re7, Metro Exodus, Dead Space 2 and a few other top games this year..yet I am here writing a review for Evil Within 2. This game is like going back to your favourite grilled sandwich of games - it's comfort. Especially in 2020 where there is barely any hope around - this game somehow manages to bring you to edge of your seat yet keeping you always wanting for more. I actually put this game off for only Saturdays when I could properly devote roughly 3-4 hours of solid game to it.

The graphics are superb 10/10, combat is fluid and one of the best in any stealth/zombie game I'd say 9/10.
Lastly the story and atmosphere I'd have to give a solid 10/10 - this time around (vs TEW1) the story is very cohesive and fluent - very well put together and flows very nicely from 1 chapter into the next. Weapons and gear are also awesome and you genuinely feel as sense of difficulty yet not punishing or grueling. The game is well paced and the story is one of the best ever! This game is right up there with my top series (metro and resident evil).

As mentioned above - I've played a lot of top games this year - and I'm having a hard time placing this as 2nd choice to any one of those awesome titles mentioned above.

Truly a fantastic game! I hope Shinji is making a part 3 - Can't wait for Ghostwire!

Game is top notch. Believe it or not I started like 3 times already and never played through. Boy do I regret not. While this isn't the most original ideas, it's one of the best Zelda clones I've played!

Probably the most fun AC I've played since Black Flag.
The Ezio collection is legendary, bf was fun, heck even Syndicate was fun but not as much as Black Flag.
I can safely tell you folks, AC Origins is amazing! Graphics are gorgeous, combat is much more enjoyable. I love the stealth and action blend perfectly. There's lots of water! Game is a solid 9.5/10. (would have given it the extra 0.5 if it actually went further than 60 fps on my pc)!

- Review Title: What the Once Great Resident Evil Series could have been! -

Okay so my initial thoughs after giving this game a second try recently (Mar 2018), I exact thoughts were, " why didn't I play out this game sooner?" I originally started to play it when it first came out but really didn't dig it to be honest.
Let me tell you, the first chapter is literally 0 indication or any sort of representation of this game AT ALL!!!

In my second time playing this after pushing through the first chapter I quickly realized this game gave me a feeling which I really didn't get from any other game except Resident Evil 4 (I could add in alan wake here too to be honest) - That's right, (as so many other reviews said) this game gives a very similar atmosphere and feeling to Resident Evil 4 the masterpiece and has some psychological elements like alan wake. That said, some parts were legit chilling and scary! A true survival horror done right!

I admit there were some cheap scares/deaths and the game was fairly easy for me (will try on a harder difficulty some time later in the future), but by the time I finished chapter 2, this game had me hooked! The graphics as well are splendid. The sounds and atmosphere really made this game the game it is!

Tl;dr: If you loved Resident Evil 4 (a true masterpiece imo) get this and Evil Within 2 which I plan on getting very soon!

Where do I begin?
Simply put, this game is a masterpiece!
When I first started it a year ago I'd admit, it didn't have much appeal to me...and it quickly lost my interest. However, this year (2017) I decided to try my LUCK (no pun intended) with it. Now, I can't speak for those who are pissed with the content creation club etc...but honestly I like my fallout games vanilla (plus it's needed to get achievements too!).
I quickly found myself 105% engrossed in this game and it began eating my time. The atmosphere is amazing...I saw people complain there was less radiation etc. but to me it was just perfect (remember its 200 years after the war people!). The difficulty, combat and graphics has definitely been improved over its predecessors.

However the more things improved, the more it felt like fallout 3 and fallout NV which are also masterpieces....and that's OKAY....because they were amazing as well (Ever hear the saying?- if it ain't broken!)...You get so much content - even with the season pass....Nuka World and Far Harbour easily added 20+ hours to my game. This game was truly one of the best games I've played this year....and I played Witcher 3...which i simply adored!

Tl;dr - This is an awesome game! Ignore those haters on steam. This is truly a modern day masterpiece! 10/10 would play again...if I had time or no life or didn't have a mega backlog of games to play :/ ... GET IT!!!!

Despite the horrible optimization and engine (seriously arkane you all could have just used unreal engine 3 -_-) as well as frame pacing issues, it was and still is a great game!...So much so that I pushed through the lousy optimizations and played through till the end and more! 8/10 (2 points knocked off for crappy optimization and graphical issues).

And yes I do have a good system to run it! - GTX 1070 + i7 3930k and it still couldnt maintain a steady 60-75 fps at 1080p :/

This game is so much fun...you can play it lax just to chill your brain from the stresses of life but to get good at it actually takes work especially if you aim to climb the competitive ladder (the most rewarding/frustrating feeling i've every encountered)..

Never thought I would like this game so much tbh.

Tl:dr - buy it, waste your time on it, waste more time on it, realize you need to get better, waste more time on it :')

Honestly, Ghosts and AW killed cod for me, but after warming up to Black Ops 3...I love it...Treyarch always (and i mean always) has never disappointed! I've learnt my lesson after wasting money on ghosts and aw: this is the only cod i'll play till black ops 4 is released. The next 2 or 3 COD's can take a hike tbh. This is probably the best cod since black ops 2 (obviously excluding cod4 well.....because cod4 :p).

I have to say, at first i didn't like it, (you know the regular optizimation crap and such). But even after it was optimized, i never really touched it....i actually started over the campaign about 5 times since i got it O.o. However, after actually sitting down and getting a good 2 hrs into the campaign...Watch Dogs is GREAT! The missions are so awesome. It literally puts the player in control by letting him/her choose the way they want to go about completing the missions. You can go all out carnage or be 100% silent and tactical. Even the side quests are amazing and fun! I actually have fallen in love with Watch_dogs....Hopes it never ends :)(: !!!! 10/10 i'd rate this game! Go on! Play it ! You won't regret!

Bought for summer sale, HIGHLY PLAYABLE now...no lags or stutters on high-ultra (i have a gtx 970 + i7 3930k), graphics are beautiful....reminds me a little of ACII

It is actually very sad and depressing close to the end ;_;
