Hi. I'm Ryan, I'm 28 and live in the U.S. If you're reading this, maybe you found your way to my profile from one of my reviews, posting in a group, or some other means; whatever it may be, welcome! This section is pretty much just a mini-biography about myself for anyone that like to learn more about that. I'm constantly growing and my interests are changing over the years, so this section has been, and likely will continue to be, subject to change over time.


One of my favorite topics is history. I love learning about civilizations and states of old, how people lived, and as a sort of roadmap to help understand why the world is the way it is today. A few areas of particular interest to me are Indian history, Mongol history, and Renaissance Italy history. Animals are also very dear to me, and I've grown up with four-legged friends up to today. Music is also important to me, and I dabble in just about every genre, or at least have at some point. To any of my friends that would like to trade music suggestions to each other, I'm all for it! It probably doesn't come as a surprise that I enjoy video games, specifically MMORPGs, RPGs, historical strategy, sometimes survival, etc. I'll have a section on my profile that lists some of my favorite games of all time. Feel free to strike up a conversation with me about any of these things, or other topics.


When it comes to what type of friend I'm looking for, you could say it's the same type of friend I am towards my friends. I am steadfastly loyal to my friends and those that have earned my trust. Friendship goes both ways; it's a give and take. I treat others the way I want to be treated, and I ask that you do the same when interacting with me. If you're mainly looking for friends to fill your friend's list as mere numbers that you don't interact with, then I'm probably not the friend for you. However, if you're looking for new friends to hang out with and get to know, there's a place for that, and I'll meet you there.
