Updated Review:
Quasimorph has actually blown me away with the recent changes and updates. Originally I had trouble getting past the first couple hours, so while I enjoyed the game each run ended in at most 5 hours of gameplay and then Id restart or entirely give up for a couple months.

The updates improving the AI and removing some of the more frustrating mechanics have drastically improved this game though. It feels entirely fair now, and I have had nothing but fun doing the missions. Youll sometimes run into a wall and have to fly to a different part of the solar system to kill some time and get a fresh set of missions, but thats just a part of the game really and once you get back to being a power house it feels really rewarding, especially with that thought in the back of your mind that you could still lose if you play dumb.

The meta progression has massively improved too. It seems far more intuitive than it did prior and the items to actually upgrade my ship seem to be coming by a ton more often. I sincerely think the game has come a long way, and I absolutely maintain my recommended rating for this game.

This is a very timid recommendation for a few reasons.

Firstly: You need friends who want to play this. I don't think this game is fit for solo play, or can even function as a fun solo experience. Maybe a couple hours here and there, but the fun comes from a group.

Secondly: The progression kind of sucks. In a group it works because you can all specialize your perks so you don't have to take forever to advance while the zombies are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ you up, but alone even with cranking the exp multiplier to 3x it's just a huge grind to try to advance. Also I will never, ever, recommend playing this game without the 3x exp multiplier. The normal exp amounts are just wayyyy too small for you to advance in any way thats fun.

Conclusion: Fun multiplayer, a boring grind singleplayer, and the progression is just a cut above garbage if singleplayer. Still, if you have friends whod like to try this, I do recommend the game for that perpose

Pros:
- Variety of characters to choose, all play in very unique ways
- Variety of items
- Good difficulty scaling
- Constant fun
- Variety of maps
- Attention to detail with every aspect of the game
- Ways to edit how the game plays the more you play it
- Fun final boss
Cons:
- This game is too good to be true. I can only guess we're ending the world by playing. Or it's just one of the best games ever made, take your guess.

Summary: ROR2 is 100% worth it. It provides hours of fun every time you open the game, though be warned. If you want a quick game, this game isnt that, each run has the potential to run for HOURS.

If you liked older monster hunters, this game is that on steriods and a lot of the issues with those older ones (like constant loading) are fixed. If you dont like to grind, dont buy this though.

Its a fun management game with good replayability. You learn what works and what doesnt and then you try again making it further each time. Its difficult and requires hours of work to even get far enough that you can get to an advanced spot on the first level but its wholly worth it.

Terraria is a phenomenal experience for any gamer to go through. The progression is fun and comes in many obvious and a few subtle ways. For example you can have the gear to fight a boss but you can still easily lose if you dont know how that boss fights. The atmosphere is amazing, the soundtrack is beautiful and memorable, and just by sound you can reconize where you are. The enemies are fun, the bosses are creative, and the items and playstyles are plentiful.

Pros:
- Everything

Cons:
- Honestly I can't think of any con I'd have with this game.

Summary:
If you like videogames that have building, bosses, and fun Terraria is the game for you!

Im very friendly with this game. The characters are lovable, and quirky, the story engages you, the combat is amazing for rookies and if you want to master it and memorize level layouts for perfect killing runs, you can. I'd give it a 9 boomsticks out of 10.
