As someone who likes souls games and souls-like games i have been quite excited to see this game's realease and be able to play it,scenery looks amazing and bosses are unique and some of them challenging.
After finishing the game i have some things that i don't really like,and i would love to share them,so let's start.
First off is the inconsistency and performance issues that the game has (although i've seen them fixing this problem with the numerous and consistent updates) but i felt like i was playing this game in Alpha,not release.
Another problem that i have seen there's 194 weapons as they say,indeed all of them are unique and have different stats wich might fit your playstyle but they don't have any different combat arts and they're basically the same. THE 339 ARMOR PIECES,oh boy i have something to say about this.Despite having different stats they have no defensive impact at all,simply for aesthetics.

Then you have SO MANY MOBS.In my entire gameplay i have seen some unique mobs and such,but you will see something as you progress. Wich is the same mobs in every region, A dog,an archer,a guy with 2 axes.You progress into a snowy environment, ready to meet other mobs that you have not encountered so far,guess what? You have a snow dog,a guy with 2 frozen axes,and an archer who freezes you.Keep in mind that after reaching the last location to beat the final bosses (bramis castle) and after 40 hours of gameplay,the same mobs were there just with hp and damage scaling on top,WOW.
The amount of mobs that wastes your time is absoluely disgusting wich make you just run past them since it wastes your time.
You want to simply run somewhere? guess what PREPARE to get stuck everywhere and get ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ by enemies
The Umbral realm is cool as a concept,but is flawed in execution,it's basically a map on top of the normal map (maybe that's what causes the performance issues) Keep in mind that in the umbral world i had less fps than in the normal one.
you have to worry about the normal world mobs,on top of the umbral ones,wich makes you to want to exit out of umbral as quickly as possible.
Another problem that i had and i don't like,Looking at something and locking on it,but oh no,it locks you to the enemy 250 meters behind,wich is frustrating.
One of the coolest bosses i have seen.The Hollow Crow,you don't even fight it,you fight a ♥♥♥♥ ton of mobs and you simply fight some other female entity that dissapears after 2 hits,i was expecting to fight with the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ crow,but no,you fight 20 mobs wich half of them are ranged,plus you need to dodge the crow's abilities.
Now i am going to spoil the ending of the game,the last boss Adyr,this insane god-like entity,wich you think is going to be the coolest fight,guess what,it's a gimmick fight where you have to kill a couple glowing enemies and then the game ends,you don't get to fight the boss itself,wich gets referenced trough all the game.I was shocked as ♥♥♥♥.Imagine phase 1 Renalla from elden ring as a final boss.Or deacons of the deep as a final boss. Even pieta,the first boss you encounter is better than the last boss fight.
The endings that you can get are 3,cool but you get locked out of 2,for cleansing a beacon,usually the first one is after fighting The Hushed Saint,you see the beacon and say: Hmm,i guess i should cleanse this to progress trough the game,right? so you go interact with it and it says: Cleanse the beacon or Do nothing. And doing nothing feels like you won't progress trough the game at all,right?
Well it's damn near impossible to know this will have an effect 30 hours later,knowing that you can't do the umbral ending or inferno Ending,wich bascially means you need to play on new game+ to do them,guess what,in new game+ you don't even have vestiges so good luck with that.
I generally am tired to type even more about this,but these were some problems i had with the game that i have talked about,generally this game would've been perfect without these,as the game's map looks amazing.
Even tough i had these issues,the game's cinematics and visuals look good,ending gave me a jawdrop as to how stupid the fight was,same with The Hollow Crow who looked like an interesting boss fight,just to be sad about not even getting to fight it.
Tancred was so cool to fight,same with the cinematic,the same can be said about Judge Cleric.
Overall this game is not worth the money unless they fix these issues.
Or you can suffer and go to the pain that not only me,but some others that i have talked to went trough.

Hello to everyone that is reading the Reviews section.
I want to start off by saying that i had a positive review about this game before deleting it to make this one,so let's get started.
As a WW2 history fan,i have decided to buy this game 2 YEARS ago,i've had a blast in this game solo,but with friends aswell,this game is probably the best WW2 game i have played in my whole 21 years.I really liked the whole concept about the game and how Blackmatter built this game up and consistantly made QoL improvements to the game while adding new stuff,i have not been aware that Blackmatter actually sold it to Team17 and started to see these review bombings for the game,and also for the new trailer.
I am really sad to say this but it seems that this game is going to go downhill with Team17's lack of experience with this type of game,and the game in general,we can all see that by the release of update 14 wich had some major flaws,bugs,performance issues and even the historical accuracy was kind of bad for the british faction.
Hopefully blackmatter come back,or team17 destroys the game completely.So sad seeing this game going downhill because the original team that designed it wanted a big chunk of money.

Good game but,the whole way the management/team building side of game has been executed, is terrible.
You can't get good players unless you invest some money into this game,even though you will still not get a black ball
