Worth the wait. Its games like this that reminds me why I love video games (and specifically Source games)

This game is basically the modern equivalent of Rfactor 1. Endless mods and loads of hours of driving to be had. What other driving game can you think of where you can drive real world cars on laser scanned tracks and also drive Rainbow Road with a drift bus

A very fun and challenging (if you're new to the franchise) flight arcade game. No other flight game on the PC comes close to this... And on console it's only beaten by games in it's own series.

I recommend this game with all my being.

Now for some bullet point thoughts on the game:

The DLC missions are fantastic.

Story is WAY WAY WAY better than 6 but still clings on to quite a bit of melodrama which I wasn't a huge fan of. I felt like 4 through Zero had less than what's on display here. The final boss of the game is weak compared to other games in the series.

Gameplay is as good as it has ever been. Like I said earlier, no other game in the genre comes close (except other Ace Combat games)

Visuals are also fantastic... Though in one or two missions the clouds look a little fake; like watercolor. Could just be me though.

Music, as usual, is legendary. Some of the best music in gaming right here fight me in the comments. ADFX-10, Mimic, and Anchorhead Raid are some of my favorites.

If you are an Ace Combat fan, you already have this game. If you are new to the series and you like action games, you should like this. Controller is highly recommended. Both a PS4 and Xbox controller work, however I personally recommend the Xbox controller.

Also for newcomers, you unlock planes in a "unlock tree" I highly suggest you stick to one branch for your first story playthrough. The game can be a little overwhelming with that and the upgrades you do to your plane but stick with it and you'll have a blast.

FIRST Robotics: A deanstopian future: The video game

Yes.

The most fun and polished spiritual successor to WipEout I've played. It playes alot like Wip3out and looks the part too. Still need some polish on the AI but its totally playable and more importantly, enjoyable right now.

Music is really good too.

Just play it. It's freaking free so you don't have an excuse!

I love this game in the same way I love Skate 3 (which is a very good thing). You have one part of the game, the legit part, where you play the game as intended. Doing stunts and stuff. Good fun. But then you have the other part, the glitchy side, which you gotta work for... But oh man when you get it right... I swear I will never again laugh like I did when playing this game.


Do yourself a favor and play this game. It's free and a lot of fun.
