I don't like the subscription and the graphics of TM2020 but I wonder what will happen to United Forever if they decide not to host servers anymore. What do you think how long will this game last?

I'd like to use the sportscar skin in the stadium, and I can't simply go inside the game's folder and put it into the "carcommon" folder because the skins in that folder only contains the texture files (as opposed as the custom models that also include the model alongside the texture). I've already got a tool to open the pak files, but where can I find the default car models (american, rally, coast, sports, bay, etc)? tl;dr: I'd like to mix and match cars from the other environment. About 120-130 players per 24 hours and a total of about 300 all-time peak, so why can't the developers make a cheaper game for example for $1 or $2 so that the player base would be larger? The game was released in 2008, and the price is like the one released now. Sorry, I don't understand. It's better to sell 200 copies for $1, not one or none for $15 really makes no sense...

so curently im playing the standalone version of TM-Nations-Forever I heard that TM-United-Forever has some different ups/downs for the standalone and steam version. has annyone more infos for me and wich version would be better to buy? (I know standalone is not that easy to get annymore)...
