Game is a fun twist on Vampire Survivors with few inspirations from Hades brining random skill selection upon level up, as well as having full blown loot progression.

Game is in Early development but already extremely polished with good amount of content.

I would recommend this game to anyone who enjoyed Vampire Survivors.

Simulator of being ghosted by your high school girlfriend on AIM/ICQ. Would recommend, 5/7.

Easter eggs and period references is a nice touch.

One of the best games I played period. It might seem that the game is simplistic at first glance, but amount of gameplay variation through weapon combos, heroes and modifiers is insane.

Best $2 anyone could spend in their gaming purchases.

Update after 1 year:
Game still rocks, dev keeps updating it with new items, heroes and levels. Also released new DLC adding even more stuff.

Flawed but good. Gameplay loop, world building and gunplay are all excellent. Game has really good soundtrack and very cool world, PvE system is incredible and fun with frequent updates and seasons.

Only negative would be poor monetization coming from Bungie with Eververse and their recent decision regarding Dungeons in next year.

The game still holds up, despite badly ages graphics and spottyr voice acting, as well as cliche story. Maybe it's nostalgia, but I replayed game for the first time since 2002 and had a blast.

Make sure to install Widescreen fix to remove 60FPS cap and fix FoV, as well as original audio restore pack, to bring back removed songs.

I like it. needs a bit more work on PC UI, but overall, I think it's improvement over the mod for Dota 2.

Warframe is a weird game for me, I started playing it to fill the void of online co-op PvE action game left by Destiny after I stopped playing on consoles. But in the end I got hooked and started appreciating Warframe on it's own merit.

Sure, it might not have the Polish or production quality of Destiny, but it compensates that with deep (albeit not very intuitive) crafting and mods system.

Developers are pretty active and there are bimonthly releases of new content, with monthly or even biweekly releases of new weapons and other little things.

So if you want grindy (but not at the level of MMOs or Asian F2P games) co-op shooter with cool mechanics and aesthetics, this game is perfect.

Update: with open world updates, I would say this game is now the best co-op PvE loot shooter on the market.

Update in 2019: Although it wouldn't hurt to get big updates more frequently.

So I've been playing new Doom and I must say, game exceeded my expectations by a mile. If I had to describe game with only one sentence it would be "This is so oldschool and metal as f*ck".

First thing that happens when you press "start new game" is you dropped right in the middle of the game and only thing you see is demons, pistol and space marine suit. So you get your ass (literally, since you wake up ♥♥♥♥♥) in space marine suit and start slaying hell spawn.

I had a a suspicion that sneaky f*cks from Bethesda just made such game intro to appease Doom fans and that it will go back to "modern" standards of gameplay and story. But no, they did it, they made oldschool hardcore shooter that is metal as f*ck, absolute MAD MEN.

No stupid hand holding, corny story, cutscenes, "modern" gameplay elements like ADS or QTE (press "F" to pay respect). The game is purely oldschool arena shooter. The only "modern" additions are gun mods, which actually completely transform your guns into something else. Like shotgun into grenade launcher, or assault rifle into rocket launcher. So I don't mind it. Adds lot of variety.

Last things - secrets are back, rooms that lead to "Classic Doom" levels and other bonuses, like access to powerful weapons before normal progression, like getting Double Barrel shotgun way before you normally would stumble upon it.

Anyway, from just play 6 hours, game is top notch. I would recommend it to both people who grew up in the 90s with shooters like Doom, Quake and Wolfenstein, as well as people who just got tired of "modern shooters" formula and want to try something different.
