This is my favorite game, I hate it! :) I struggled with horse shield golden pissboy, but first tried melania. End my suffering!

This is the antidote to that left 4 dead itch I've had since l4d2. It fixes the slow feel of L4D's movement, and gives gunplay that feels just far enough past arcade shooter to be able to relax and unwind to. The card system is an innovative way to make a typical zombie co-op game have near infinite replayability if you don't mind RNG for the cards against you. It also invites even the weirdest builds to keep your adventures fresh. Genuinely the first 10/10 game I've played in years, even with 1k hours between both l4d games.

This game has to be one of my favorite games of the year. I don't have a whole lot of time these days to play games outside of what I play for my college, and I still find myself coming back to it. Not to mention it's a single player game, a genre I'd usually ignore when I don't have much time on my hands. The score always has me pumped up when necessary, not to mention when you find a dryad her score is remarkable. The scenery and art style mash together so well, that I often find myself stopping to admire it. There are certainly times where it can be frustrating and I'll stop for the day, but the vast majority of this game is an absolute gem.

After 400 more hours, I can definitely say that Siege is my favorite shooter around. It's to the point where I've started playing it for my college team, and really urge folks to play it if they've got the gear to run it. It's got a (mostly) great community, and really shines when you're playing in a stack. I've met plenty of friends I've ended up seeing IRL off the ridiculous nature of the game at times. If you're not sold on the gameplay, gunplay, or mechanics then just wait for it to go on sale! It's usually on sale once every other month between steam, humble bundle, and uplay.

I played this game a LOT before high school. And I have to say it still holds up. I recently played it with a buddy on 360 and I'm thinking about binging on it again. Easily the best couple bucks you'll ever spend. I mean I've played this and the prequel around 600 hrs combined. It's freaking awesome, especially with all the custom maps, and plugins that people create.

This is honestly my favorite ftp game on steam. 10/10 Would play again.

I've played both this game and the sequel on ps3 and xbox 360, but playing it on the pc tends to help with any lag issues you may experience. I also personally prefer this game on pc, but the console version for the sequel, as it just eliminates any past borderlands save issues.
Pros: Pretty long game with all the add ons, relatively ccheap if you grab GOTY edition, runs pretty easily, even on older computers.
Cons: Can lag on a console, or in big picture mode. Tends to have issues with 360 controller drivers at times on PC

Great game, if you like WoW, this would be a good substitute!
