Celeste is perhaps one of the best platformers ever made. Before everything else, just the puzzles and mechanics of Celeste are nearly peerless and endlessly creative. However, the music and story of this game take the Celeste experience to another level of quality. Every track from Lena Raine is stellar, and the bonus tracks are just as good. The story is also perfectly intertwined with the puzzles. Its plot is relatable, the characters feel real, and the ending is shockingly powerful. Better yet is all three of these work perfectly together, the juxtapostion of the challenges, music and story beats all come together to create an atmosphere that is utterly engrossing.

Please give this game a chance, it is so worth every dollar.
