Best Far-Cry game ever made.

This is a good story, especially for comic readers. I find most characters gripping and as annoying as the flashbacks are I think they develop Michonne's character well. Norma and Randall are really good villains, some of the best in the series even.

The game-play is well, still just point and click, but with new animations, enhanced audio and more the zombie-killing is probably the second best in the series in my opinion.

However, this game is not worth the price it's asking for. You will at most get 3-4 hours of game-play out of this. It is a story game and a small one at that, so the replay value is not large whatsoever.

My consensus is that unless this game is on a discount, it simply isn't worth your money.

Probably my personal favorite in the series. Definitely outdoes TFS in every way.

The story takes a dip at around Episode 4 and struggles getting out of it. I believe this is due to the cut content.

Generally the story maintains a good pace, with Episode 3 feeling incredibly quick just how good it is. Carver is a great villain and Kenny's Dynamic is on par with Lee's.

I'm not a fan of how determinant characters are handled. Nick says nothing and then dies off-screen. Sarah dies the same episode you can save her. Possibly my biggest gripe with the game.

Good expansion pack but not worth the 5 euros.

Best story game ever made

I only bought this game because it was on sale, first off, why are the HD textures automatically downloaded with the base game? The game does not need to be 170GB and the previous installments had the HD textures be optional downloads.

Speaking of technical issues, the game runs extremely poorly. It looks about the same, I'd even say worse than Far Cry 5 and I got about 140 FPS on that game, while I get at best 90 on this one.

The story so far seems compelling, Castillo is a good villain and I like the dynamic with his son. But holy hell, the resistance characters are incredibly obnoxious, the Latin American accents are extremely poor and make me cringe when listening to them, the characters are obnoxious and not likable whatsoever. I skip the cutscenes and dialogue at any opportunity. I have no quarrels with the main character but they simply talk too much, either have the character be completely silent like the deputy in Far Cry 5 or have them speak minimally like Jason or Ajay.

The saving grace is the gameplay, exploration is fun and the new features such as the gun modifying and bullet types are welcome. The Supremo is also incredibly fun. However, the enemies are bullet sponges, which is incredibly lazy. Weapons feel weak and unsatisfying.

I am going to play this game to completion to get my moneys worth, but this game is hard to even open let enough play for more than one hour straight.

One of the best RPG's I have ever played. The story is great and the big reveal is also very shocking.
From a technical standpoint the game still holds up, you sadly need to download mods for an up to date resolution.
RPG elements are great and I've never had more fun with building my own character and companions.
Great side quests, a lot of backtracking but I don't really mind.
I wish the companion quests were better though. I am not a big fan of needing to take your companions in and out of your ship and to spaceports constantly to trigger certain quests relating to the companion.

Overall 9.5/10.
I will definitely replay this but do a dark side playthrough.

One of the best games I have ever played.
It has great storytelling, world-building and ambience.
The game is dated but holds up today, and can actually be played on a modern machine compared to fallout 3.
Combat isn't perfect but works, especially with weapons from the DLC's.
The game holds up well today and is a must-play, if you're wanting to get into the fallout series this game would be a fine game to start with.
