If you are reading this you are probably wondering why im downvoting this despite my playtime and maybe you are even considering buying it. I paid 15 euros for this game I bought it online. The 60 euro price tag it has on steam is far more than you need to pay or this game even deserves. So make sure that if you wanna buy this you buy it for a low price.

none of the dlc are worth their asking price for this game. the ai is dumber than it was back in rome 1 back in 2004 in a lot of situations. you can have good fun in this game with enough mods and tbh a lot of the modded factions like nagash offer you more than most of the dlc.

I do consider this game worth 10-15 euros (mostly for the mods) but there is no escaping the fact all of this game couldve been a warhammer 1 update/ dlc. the other people leaving negative reviews because the new dlcs are overpriced are right but the main thing is this game is basically already a 60 dollar dlc and what you get for it kinda blows half the races the main game comes with arent very fun or even very well designed. not to mention them adding in day 1 dlc with the ogres and people being cool with it.

overall a cool game with bad pricing. also if you are a fan of total war from pre rome 2 this game is not for you this game is basically all stats fairly little strats it can be fun to play around with but its not very challenging you have been warned. also really no reload animations in the "best looking game in the series".

Leaving a negative review until CA stops ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ up their old games with patches literally nobody asked for. Instead of fixing the unsinkable ships wich would be appreciated even if its like 10 years too late that would at least be better than taking away a basic online feature and bricking the mod launcher. game itself is good but mod launcher is bricked tbh you might honestly have a better experience with this game if you pirate it at this point at least that probably has a way to play with mods. very much apreciated CA love all the updates you are doing to your way better games.

Gameplay slaps pretty hard too bad the campaign is so short it reccomended me hard difficulty and i cant say it was all that difficult a couple deaths at the start but once you get the hang of it its pretty great 5 hours to beat is not very long tho but the story is a lot better than i was expecting defnietly worth the 3 euros i spent on it so cant say i mind too much.

SHOOT GOOD 10/10

So lets get first things first the game is good, not 10/10 but its good. If you like dark souls its just basically more of it, Now onto the parts where it isnt 10/10. bossfights can randommly start glittching their models making it so you have to guess what attack theyre doing maybe thats just a godrick thing but he was sliding on the floor twice in seperate tries for me also random crashes not as bad as bethesda level so im to high a level in masochism for those 4 hard crashes over 70 hrs bother me much but its worth mentioning. also the optimization sucks pretty bad im lucky my pc is good eneugh to run it. but it looks like something the xbox 360 could run probably if you scaled the render distance way back the art style is great but the graphics arent such a massive leap that it has to annihilate cpus and gpus.

So to summarise this for people that doont like long reviews: "if you have a good pc and spare money and a lot of free time ye its good no 10/10 but a solid 8/10... (ye an 8 some of the boss fights are super lame and easy whilst others turn into waiting for that 1 attack to happen just to get your paltry damage in repeat about 100 times. and hey if that sounds like perfection to you. agree to disagree and stay away from me. also your build sucks isnt a great counter argument for arguably the first real boss(margit) you are forced to fight. Also the fights become feel like theyre becoming easier the further you get into the game wich is kinda starting the burn me out")

this is my favorite 7 hour long Cybernetic jaw ad. that thing is getting some milage in this game.

Its rome. Worskhop support is pretty nice altho the modding atm is still a bit annoying in some places im sure itll get a lot better in the future. I did have to switch it back to the old camera controls as the new camera feels wrong but overall its really quite good. Its rome but with slightly less jank and better visuals overall id say a good remaster

good stuff have only died to trees falling on my head so far but its still very challenging and building a house is still not going well but overall man is this fun
