Honestly, Best release in the last few years

Its decently captivating for awhile, and I do enjoy a good portion of the Colony Sim aspects. Designing your Dwarven stronghold and exploring the mountain home is quite fun, the large variety of professions and skills for your dwarves to become proficient in, Theres even a perk system for you to use to specialize your dwarves.

So why do I not recommend this? Well; theres ALOT of unintuitive mechanics.

Farming anything(Which is pretty important for getting materials for brewing and construction, not just feeding your colony) very jankly and seldom worked for me.

The system of creating tools and giving them to your dwarves is pretty cool in concept, but trying to manage something like that for a large population of dwarves with no comparison menu between the tools just doesnt feel worth the effort you need to put in.

Trying to build around structures that have already been placed(IG The ones in the background) sometimes works and sometimes it doesnt. I have completely given up on replacing the dirt and raw stone floors of my keep with any kind of manufactured block because of this.

The game shows promise, but I think it needs a good amount of additional work.

Play at max volume and get PTSD

Its a fantastic game though, every aspect of it is player controlled, Logistics, Artillery, Recon, etc. Even if being a front liner isnt your forte, you can still find a good place for you that still helps the overall war effort. It can have a slight learning curve, but the community is very helpful and kind and willing to help newer players out.

Its a trap

Its Soviet Fallout or Soviet Wasteland. Its really enjoyable the dialogue can be pretty damn funny at times. Give it a shot while its on sale,

Boy, Oh boy was I surprised to see this... and good god am I happy, the risk of rain formula translates into 3D so well. Im having a blast and its still in early access and most of the characters and items aren't even in yet! Some small complaints though, the teleporter is difficult to find sometimes, and it might just be me but I randomly get lag spikes and I dont think its hardware issues. Anyways, its an amazing game and if you like roguelikes and risk of rain, definitely pick this up and support H.opoo Games

Slay the spire is a Turn based deck buidler Roguelike and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ its fun, its super addictive and its just very pretty, granted it is early access so some bugs and lack of features may be expected but I havent encountered a bug and there seems to be alot of content but ive only done one run, but I recommend it!

Dont buy this until they make the controls as tight as the originl.

You really have some eye opening moments when you knock out somebody but instead of killing them, you stand over them talking to them and having them convince you to pick them back up.
