Classic from soft game. Quite a few reused assets from DS3 but still an entirely different feeling game

Not being a rally driver I can't comment on how realistic the physics are but they sure as hell feel correct. I play with a wheel and I really like how you can feel the front tires lose and gain grip on different surfaces, my favourite racing game for the driving experience. However there are some technical issues that all really just lay with the company that makes the game. Technical support is not really there, and the game does have a history of having some server issues. However as of late those problems haven't surfaced. They seem to have improved, not solved, the issue of constant understeering from their other games. But, if you get good enough to play without traction control that'll help.

Would recommend this game. Lots of fun, play it with a wheel.

Played this on Xbox and was so good I bought again when I shifted to PC gaming. Solid story with a driven protagonist which takes a unexpected but perfectly suitable turn in the end. Progressing through the story is beyond being exciting and interesting for you as the player, but as the person watching it all unravel, the connection one builds with the primary characters creates an emotional attachment preventing you from leaving your seat before reaching the conclusion. This stand alone title could do with a sequel but with the precedent of quality set by this game, I understand why rockstar hasn't yet released a sequel.

The new ultimate edition is a metaphorical mooning to all the people who bought this game and DLC before the ultimate edition release. Now people who already own the game and want new DLC must not only re-buy the game but must also essentially pay for dlc they already have. Until this developer re-releases the DLC for individual purchase, this negative review stands. I btw have payed way more than 60 dollars on DLC for this game, making this ultimate edition even stupider.

I wrote a review for this game already, saying that I didnt recommend it. However as you read this now, you may have realised i am now recommending it. I was one of the many who funded this game on kickstarter, something like 3 years ago, and i was honestly disappointed with the outcome. However as of late i was playing some total annihilation and decided that this game deserved another go. Before now the game didnt run smoothly, it constantly crashed and that prevented me from seeing the mechanics this game had to offer. They have seemed to have fixed the problem and i play the game regularly. The mechanics are great, I could describe them in detail and waste your life or i could tell you that they are like total annihilation in the 21st century. The graphics are perfect and simple, the satisfaction of watching your buildings being built is undescribable and the combat is smooth and great + the soundtrack is up to par. The choice of commanders is great, they seem to cover every play style, whether you like relentlessly slaughtering your enemies in the earky game or conducting a large scale battle in the late. The explosions are wonderful aswell, especially when planets collide, not quite universe sandbox 2, but very good none the less.

Things i dont like:
The movement of units that travel between planets seems grainy and undefined, especially when your moving a planet.

The planets don't rotate as time moves forward which strips the realism out from your hands.

You cannot collide planets into the sun.

Very little solar system customization.

The Halley's (engines you use to move planets) are available way too early in the game and provide an unbelieveable easy victory for your combatant. They seemingly havent tried to balance this at all.

However I think that this game's positives outweigh its faults and therefore give this game a somewhat clean bill of health. Possibly has a mild cough.

Great game... of regular old fashioned chess. As of now if you play against AI the chess game is rather normal. As of yet I haven't seen the AI use and quantum moves which makes the games rather repetitive. As of now I give this game a thumbs down, however i see the potential this game has and look forward to the full release.

Finally a good car game for the PC. Good story, great cars, seemingly realistic physics and a great map. The best part is you can go on this journey with your friends in the lane beside you.

Another fantastic addition to the trilogy. If they make improvements of this calibre everytime they release a game, i can only imagine what the next will be like.

Love every second of it. Whether you want to ♥♥♥♥ about with fantastically humourous characters, or if you want to make a scientific expedition to a world of little knowledge, this game is for you.

Unbelieveably well put together. Runs smoothly, unlike Dark Souls I the online is easily accessible thanks to its password system. I recomended this game to my grandfather it's so good.
