"I'm condemned to use the tools of my enemy to defeat them. I've burn my decency for someone else's future. I burned my life to make a sunrise I'll never see. And the ego that started this fight will never have a mirror, an audience or the light of gratitude." :bluelightsaber:

Update: After playing the 1.0 full released version, nothing has changed. This game feels painstakingly unfinished, each gate has 10% story 90% nothing! Even when you get to the story its a useless 30 seconds that could have been apart of the last gate. The progress is so unoptimized my duo and I are so far ahead of everything that we actually have to full speed the train because its not even worth stopping for the puzzles/outpost fights. we cant even craft half the stuff we know because of how far ahead we are. We have to wait a few hours and run through the swamp that is each gate. Gunplay is still jank and not even worth investing time in, there is no value in hoarding parts or dealing with the depot guys. Plus even when doing the depots, puzzles, or quests there is nothing to do or find so you can just blitz all of it down, especially since everything uses the same model and has the same loot you outgrew 6 gates ago. There is no point in exploring or even fully completing the research, you don't even need half of it.

Early Review: I do enjoy the game, Somewhat. The art design is great the world is stunning, but in its current state I can't recommend this game. The research table can be fully finished by gate 4, way before you even have the ability to use a majority of whats inside it. Multiplayer works well besides a bit of stuttering and running glitches, but there isn't player icons. you cant see where your friend is and they cant see you which makes exploration annoying. Which brings me to the island exploration, god where to start, the islands don't have a solid ground like all the other depots and hideouts so you are stuck floating and connect to a cable. This makes getting around very slow and overall annoying. Personally I like the winch and ring system but doing the puzzles for the loot isn't worth going out of your way to do. Especially when the loot is basic void loot besides for a few gun pieces. My buddy and I left the train on slow and picked up every single piece of loot that went by. Doing so had us way ahead of schedule, the "shark" was never an issue, the Depot battles were just annoying. The "shark" becomes obsolete very fast not even posing a threat after your first AR, not to mention the gunplay is sooooooo jank. Every bit of the combat feels just weird and it seems like its an after thought. Even though the game isn't an fps that shouldn't be an excuse for the physics to feel bad compared to other survival craft games especially when combat is a big part of the game. Honestly i really enjoy this game, but it really needs to be in the oven longer.
