If you enjoyed Mount and Blade Napoleonic Wars, you will definitely enjoy this. This plays similar to NW in terms of line battles, but with even more features. You now have tons of different guns, ammo types, unfixing and fixing your bayonets. You are able to customize your uniforms for all classes so have a somewhat personalized look. Artillery is way more in depth with different artillery pieces, ammo types, fuses, timers, percussion, and much much more. In terms of customization, the FSE team did not disappoint. The developers for this game are great and are very responsive to the community in their Discord. This game constantly receives updates, fixes, and is always trying to be optimized as best as possible so that even older systems can run on this game.

I would really recommend if you like line battles and the black powder era of gaming.

As someone who has been played Dynasty Warriors since Dynasty Warriors 1, 2, 3, 4, and Empires for 4, it is great to play this game again. Gives me a lot of great memories and this game is pretty good at doing so. I am happy to say that the voice acting is better than the meme of Dynasty Warriors 3. If you have the extra money, loved the first few games, I'd suggest to pick this one up.

The game is okay, frames are struggling at times, maps are too big and wide, vehicle play feels bad. The game has potential, but ultimately this game feels very incomplete and unoptimized.

I really want to like the game itself, it has grown to become one of my favorite games.

However, with the state of the economy and Gaijin's response to recent events, I am going to have to give this a negative review. I have never seen a company so tone-deaf to the state of the in-game economy. Instead of taking action, they gaslight the community and come up with the worst excuses to justify it. You are essentially forced to buy a premium account just to make the grind somewhat bearable and even then, it's still horrible. I am all for having some grinding aspects to the game, having to unlock things by doing specific tasks, but in this game, it's just peppered with micro-transactions and does everything it can to make the game unbearable without paying money.

While the game play itself is mostly good, there needs to be strides made to balance the economy and to fix the current BR compression issues. If such issues are fixed, I am more than willing to change the review.

Me being a huge fan of the Mount and Blade North and South mod like the idea. I don't want to say I love it or hate it, but rather some things that I noticed as a player.

Graphically, this game is beautiful. The guns, animations, and uniforms are spot on. The loading screens are pretty good.

The audio for this game is great as well.

Movement wise, in my opinion, is clunky. The melee is also clunky.

Overall, a good game, and if you are into the realistic mil-sim/history games (Arma, Squad, etc.), this would be your catergory. I myself am a Mount and Blade player where I like history but don't want to make the game a 100% mil-sim. Sure Mount and Blade regiments don't have historically accurate ranks, orders, etc., but that is what makes Mount and Blade fun for me. This on the other hand is more suited for those people who must have historical accuracy to play. People who follow orders, have different positions for the gun, more in depth kind of people who don't mind spending time marching and interacting. Before everyone goes nuts, I will mention that I understand the game is in Alpha and needs tons of work. Even though I am not a huge fan of this kind of game just due to my dislikes of hardcore or more serious mil-sim games, I am not going to reccomend this to those who aren't into these types of games and vice versa. I wouldn't say this is a criticism, but an overview/opinion of what needs fixing and what the game is from my perspective.

Such a great game. When I play multiplayer, its fun until I get beat. 10/10 will rage again and again. Not to mention, the singleplayer is fantastic with tons of great mods. Without the mods, I am not too sure who would play the singleplayer. The community has its cancer but in the long run, you will become a better memer. 10/10 will rage and leave the server to reset my KD.

With the new update, I am really liking the gameplay. Lag is to a minimum, but there is still many hackers who will 1 tap me. I do like how they added a new map, but literally I play it every game and it's very annoying. The new weapons are okayish but it's always good to balance the weapons out for certain situations where they excel and have an advantage.
