Now as you may have noticed, you don't see me make GMod pics that often as of late. I've stated why in the past because I lack the motivation to do so and to make the pics of good quality. But I suppose you deserve to know the reason why.
Truth be told, I just don't find comfort being in the GMod community anymore. I just feel overwhelmed by all the art on the front page and how I feel that I'll never achieve that level of talent. Along with the typical HWM TF2 pics and Nintendo favoritism getting likes by the buckets (which isn't a bad thing, just an overused schtick), I hardly see anything truly original.
On top of that, I'm just tired of the drama that goes on among the artists. We've had several accounts of certain GModders leaving after being exposed as awful people.
I just don't feel comfortable being a part of this crowd. Hell, I've even considered deleting this steam group because of how poorly I pay attention to it.
Also, I have life issues. I currently have a job that often leaves me exhausted.
So that's why I consider myself retired from GMod and never do anything on Steam; the community isn't what it used to be. But as I said, every now and then I come back for a brief moment to make something low quality and silly, though it won't be very often.
