Oh, it spikes when I startup, and keeps high the entire time Dorpie is on. When I quit, it drops down. I use Bazzite, and I run Dorpie through proton 9.0.4.
I never had this issue with any other game. When I'm playing, my GPU generally goes up to like 50, maybe 60.
I'd say, give the player more video options that we can play around with. Maybe it's AA, maybe it's shadows, maybe it's texture sizes, maybe it's some specific shader. I'd test them out one by one if I could.

uh honestly if you had to upgrade your mobo to get secure boot to work then it's not the game that cost you that extra money, you're going to need secure boot for a lot of things moving forward and eventually the old partition format will be phased out.

so basically it was time to upgrade anyway, and you wanted to play the game so that was the straw that broke the camels back.

You can sort of public host by sharing your steam game invite link. No need to add everyone to the friends list.
