HI you need to BACKUP your previous savegame data, BEFORE you download the latest version.

this is because i just realised that i lost All my CARS. (thats not just maybe 10-15 cars, but all the spark plugs, car batteries, fuel, as well as ALL the approximately 2500 items that i had stuff inside all the cars)

(luckily some cars which spawned half way into my airdrop crates, didnt actually destroy those, and i could harvest them with an axe, but all my cars had gone)


i also noticed that the map has flipped 180 degrees (horizontally)...maybe that has something to do with it?


i think the previous version (and this version) need to have a beta branch (if not already) so that the previous version can be rolled out again, before more people potentially lose lots of stuff (and if they didnt have a backup, they could lose it for good).


i think if a new version of the patch, can be rolled out (but so that it ONLY affects building interior spawns, and NOT touching anything to do with cars, maybe that will fix it, in case re-spawning all cars also deleted any player owned cars?)


(dont get me wrong, its great to see a new update for the game, but just wanting to warn people to make a backup first, just to play safe, which is good practice in any game)

say someone didnt "BACKUP" their files before updating and lost almost as much as you. is there any way of getting it back? or did we lose years of scavenging and collecting? Just asking for a friend

hi ive still got more testing to do,
i managed to find a backup save (and gamefiles), and i think i can just load up the older version with older save, and drive around to all the cars (and empty out all their storage items contents somewhere (maybe even to the floor) including car-related things like spark plugs, car batteries (not sure about fuel), and that should in theory save all the items...

.. but not the cars themselves (which isnt that bad for me, its just the items i like)

maybe its just the 2 main areas where i keep cars (in garden city mechanic side of bridge, and in the airfield wide open base area and airfield carpark area) which is now on the left side of map (maybe my cars are now on the right side of the flipped map - id have to go see lol)

i dont use the steam cloud etc but am guessing your 'friend' would need a backup of their save to save the cars.

All the planets that quests have not sent me to and a lot of the planets quests did send me to.

If this was "Overhyped", intereset for it should have died down months ago.
Kinda like with Oblivion Remastered.

They are referring to the mod, not vanilla.

1. Is there a way to swap back to day time, or is it permanent night time? I already have collected everything, but it's seems a bit weird you can't, since it would lock you out of many items that requires certain interactions with enemies.

2. What is the requirements for Godslayer? Is it the Plague witch fight that you can do in the boss rush room, or does it have to be during the story?

3. Are the new bosses added to the boss rush?
