To start this post on a positive note, I'm happy that YOU, the newbie probably reading this, are playing and enjoying this game. Don't worry I'm not here to take your toy away or insult you.

However, I'm talking to the better, older veteran players today.

It goes without saying that we probably all had the issue of queuing up an endgame activity such as Wolvendom or right now, the level 20 Vikram Rajan "raid". There's better and worse teams but it's all playable as long as you got players with a baseline endgame-dps built, or healers, or even tanks that meet the average requirement of that content.

Except sometimes you load into a Vikram and you see two level 10 dps. And at that moment you know; ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ this will be a pain. An enjoyable short fight suddenly turns into a 20 minute slog because two of your potential dps slots are filled with newbies that have genuinely no idea how the game works and no gear to back them up. And you ponder whether you should just leave and queue again in an hour.

It goes without saying that we shouldn't exclude new players from experiencing whatever content there is. That we should teach them and give the possibility to be carried by better players. Elitism is horrible and thankfully not part of this community.

However, there's reasonable ground to limit entries to some content to a certain ship level just to make sure you aren't dead weight and that the event will be enjoyable to the newbie as well.

I suggest a minimum level of 12 for Wolvendom and 13 to queue up for lvl 20 bosses like Vikram. Events from the open world should be untouched and always available.

This is about mutual respect of each others time and enjoyment of the game. One party, quite frankly, being able to massively negatively impact the enjoyment of the other is a big no. Level 13 is easily reachable by finishing the basegame mainstory in a manner of a day or two so that should be absolutely fine as the entry-gate.

How convincing are these bots? Because I saw someone ask for LGBT representation recently, someone commented, and that person immediately called them racist even though their post didn't even seem specifically targetted.

Also, in this game's defense, it's player count isn't as bad as it used to be.

To add on to this with my thoughts about the LGBT representation:

I personally think that LGBT representation in this game has a slim to zero chance of it happening since CombatCat is a Chinese game studio.

I'm not sure if it is even possible to tease something related to LGBT as well.

Yes I'm getting more enjoyment from steam discussions than I was playing this mediocre game ya'll were hyping it up like it was the best game to release since Elden Ring.

No luck on Caught in the Act so far, but I did get Great Migration. From what I can tell, it basically needs to run corner to corner to be long enough to work, and I was only able to get it done by widening the oil pools using seismic charges. Later in the game that starts creating actual water tiles, which can't become reedlands, so it seems easiest to set up in the first phase.

Great Migration is, yes. Caught in the Act can be done on any map now that the bug making it unearnable has been patched.
