I love this game, one of the best I played. I am okay with challenging game, on the edge of losing.
But timed orders are only thing that makes me ragequit. They always seem to be stacked against me, and while I throw all resources in settlement to get them, I almost always lose on some incredibly small time limit difference. To get them and lose in first batch of orders is especially infuriating beacuse it usually means I get less efficient settlement start because I focus on getting them, so it is a double loss. And the rewards are not even that good. I get if someone says "just dont do them", okay I never will, but then I am basically getting less orders.

tldr; please consider adding option to disable timed orders from the game, or give more time to complete them (especially in first batch)

EDIT: Thank you for all the advice on how to approach timed orders. AtS playerbase sure is expectedly a mature one. Taking orders later is probably best one, even if it limits me on info of what should I build for, that first year is really just too much to handle most of them, and spent mostly on basic start.
I will try it differently, but I will be more cautios to even take those in the first place.

if you dont like them just ignore them, you will always have 2 normal orders, you arent losing anything if you dont take them

i assumed it was invincible but now you make me want to start over and test it

I saw a video showing that if you defeat it you get a core for your blade, so I'm tempted to just start over (I'm already in the post-mall stage) because of the completionist in me.

FYI currently, NG+ does not retain your blades upgrades or equipment. You have to reacquire it all over again as part of the game progression each cycle.

I beg to differ. It is called "common sense". I agree we managed to display a metric ton more of it back then in the 90's.

Maybe I haven't played far enough into the crafting to get any upgrades for the raft... But it feels egregiously slow for the distance that needs to be covered between islands. Possible buff to speed would be helpful.
