Technically, if theres forsaken's stamina system, would the locust be a true killer? It has 4 abilites: slash, tv, teleport, and crouch.

Like I said in that thread, adding the large spice fields to PvE could only work if its spawn rate would be exceedingly rare.
It wouldn't really work as the DD has, overall, much less environmental dangers that HB does, except maybe for the inability to use non-aerial vehicles to traverse (the 3x3 server zones cannot be crossed without a thopter) which is easy to circumvent.

I do indeed see plenty of the latter.

Considering that dune is famous for its factional wars over the control of spice, the largest spice fields should absolutely remain in the PvP area.

Now all funcom has to do is make large amounts of spice actually worth having conflict over. For the "most valuable substance in the universe" the game treats spice as less important then plastanium for the most part

But this isnt the topic of this thread now is it? Its about OP complaining about PvErs demanding that large spice fields should be in the PvE zone... and all the proof he has for his complaint is a single thread of a guy not demanding this change because of PvP vs PvE...

But because the guy doesnt want to fly for 10+ minutes...

You cant make this crap up if you tried to... some people just want to ♥♥♥♥♥ and moan....

One other 'problem' is that, by now, these PvP players (amongst these are also the gankers) have had 2 months to fill all their coffers with the riches of the PvP zone.
They have no need to fight over these resources anyway. Why bother if you got 100k spice melange sitting in your warehouses?

I've seen a lot of complaining on these forums from people who want to have these resources exclusive to the PvP zone because (as they claim) these need to be fought over, but this is hypocritical as they themselves have no need anymore to fight over these resources.

Dune is also famous for its extremely harsh environment. These could be reason enough to add the large spice fields to the PvE zones, if I were to take your logic to interpret this.

Afaik, most spice runs were not conducted while under fire, but were routine farming runs with only the worms and the sand storms being their major dangers.
So from that persoective, it might actually make large spice fields within the PvE zones even more viable instead of less.

About the latter, yeah I agree with you on that guy. Being too lazy to fly 10km? Come on man, the DD is designed around flying just like HB is designed around terrestail travel.

Personally I really like the DD and will be sorry to see it go back to PvP. For my tastes, it's even a bit on the small side when I look for wrecks, for spice and for treasure (and perhaps a good spot to build a base).

There's a playlist in the OP with videos of GW-Uber being beaten. The top difficulty isn't intended to be remotely fair, which is why it's the top difficulty, and also as made clear in the difficulty tooltip.

The AI doesn't (can't) differentiate between AIs and players.

Why isn't it a chaotic battle? If it were a chaotic battle, players could still continue to play. But if you make all the AI attack the players, then unless the player claims that there are only a few enemies on this planet, there is a chance of winning. Otherwise, the player will simply be overwhelmed and defeated by other AI enemies.

Matters in that your average Steam user is going to see the aggregate score given by Steam, with Recent being on top. They are going to see "Mixed" and many will automatically turn away and look at another game without giving two thoughts as to the hows and whys a game has a Mixed reception.

People rarely actually read reviews. They just see the Positive, Mixed and Negative and judge from there.

You people turned FFXIV in to one of the biggest breeding grounds for groomers in the MMO space. But telling by your profile I'm sure you don't see a problem with that. :mbgaan:

Part of the reason why I quit playing this game tbh. 14's community got to a point where it genuinely made me uncomfortable for lack of a better term.

I've never found one, and people online have complained about it being required. I think of it as one more distasteful thing I've had to do to succeed in this game. It's one of my biggest complaints. You often HAVE to do awful things to complete a mission.

Yeah that's been one of my more frustrating aspects for the game, is how many crappy things it forces you to do to progress.
