Sorry to report, but it seems to be incompatible, at least with me, with previous version save games. Load game doesn't load even the first "notch" of the loading bar, but doesn't freeze or become not responsive. It just doesn't move forward. I can alt-tab and close.
I have no mods. The save game is from very far in the progression of the game.

There is a small flicker while loading, probably some errors being ignored? :)
The new interface doesn't do 3840x2160 screens justice. The interface anyways wastes a lot of space (because of this I assume you are developing on 1080p), but now the waste is insane. What previously nicely fit on one window is now tabbed and the tabs mostly are quite empty. You can no longer get what you need on glance.

The interface is designed to work for 1080p. Thanks for the screenshot examples. I'll have to have a look at it at higher resolutions to see what can be done there.
