Integrity field material difference ?
Ok, so Trinium and Xanion have no difference in anything except:
Xanion is heavier
Xanion has more HP

What is the point to use Xanion Integrity field over Trinium ?

Anyone done any dmg tests ? Does Xanion make blocks more robust than Trinium ? If so, why is this info not fed back in some way in UI ?

Also, is there any reason to have a single, large, central Integrity field block over tiny small ones across the ship ?
I understand that the field exponentially increses in size, but if the field does not become stronger too then I see no point in large integrity field block.

All integrity fields multiply the hp of the blocks by 10x. This doesn't change from teir to teir. But like may blocks and the different tiers, you're only really looking at hp and weight decisions.

Tiny Trinium blocks it is then.

If the enemy somehow shoots directly at your integrity field blocks, I assume the higher material versions of it will handle more of a beating.. Same goes for the size of them.

Some statements from Koonschi i found in this thread: https://www.avorion.net/forum/index.php/topic,552.0.html

- Overlapping integrity fields merge
- An integrity field guarantees that no blocks will be broken until the group hp has been depleted
- Higher tiers integrity field blocks are cheaper in terms of money per HP
- If an integrity field covers the entire ship it will never lose a block
- in the new patch, integrity fields will make blocks more durable, but not invincible. The ship's HP will remain the same, but the blocks will take longer to be destroyed.

!!! CHANGED !!! integrity field (official Wiki)
Integrity field blocks only increase durability and no longer make blocks invincible. Blocks inside integrity fields can now take 10 times as much damage before they explode. This does NOT change the ship's overall HP or * * * * damage taken, it only makes the blocks harder to destroy.

What i dont get is:
Does this mean that it's not true anymore that block HP merge and that there is only a 10x multitplier for each single block? This would be strange as i have for example a real thin layer of stone on top of an integrity field block with little little hp and i never lost this layer...

looks like that now you can make a 0.02x0.02x0.02 Trinium integrity blocks and sprinkle them on your ship where you want the blocks to be 10x more durable.
