That is a testament to its quality. It is not jarringly different, only more pleasing to look at because it has human-like skin texture, etc. Most of Dro's texture mods add fine details such as cloth texture. They are subtle and natural, the sort of quality that the game might officially ship with.
Whereas a lot of texture mods go for outright shock value, changing color saturation, etc. Same reason I cannot stand to be in the same room as ReShade.
All of the texture mods done for this game so far have been fantastic though, so don't read anything into what I just said :)

Thank you very much for creating epic Lulu and Tidus Textures! The difference is magnificent in downscaled gameplay! I would really appreciate, if you could increase your set of FFX character textures by the rest of the party and maybe Seymore. This would be awesome!
