As an example, I have my HTPC hooked up to a 4k HDTV. My desktop resolution is 3840x2160 and I have desktop scaling set to 300% (so that I can actually see buttons and text on the massive 4k TV), and I set FFX/FFX-2 to 1920x1080. FFX/FFX-2 only fills a small square in the top left corner of the screen. Other games (even other Square titles) properly fill the whole screen. If I set my desktop scaling to 100%, the game fills the screen as it should.

Kaidaien,
I have a novice question. After i download the files from the link above how dow i connect them to the game.
Not normally a PC gamer so this is new to me.
Link in instructions???
Thank you!
It's a reasonably well-tested project, but there appears to be problems with some versions of Windows with the new 0.8.x release line.
If you do run into problems, they will all be at startup (I am a firm believer in fail-fast design, random crashes in the middle of a game are not something you have to worry about with my software). If you get startup crashes use the Compatibility branch.
Two problems. 1 the game on a 1080 screen does not render at 4k when selected. 3k and under works and this problem is consistent despite setting is to borderless mode or fullscreen.
Next it only captures in shadowplay at 1080 no matter what resolution you are actually internally at. Hence why this video looks like trash compared to what it could.

I contacted SE by YouTube comment on their channel. Hoping they will fix it. If anyone finds a work around let me know on my youtube channel.
