To be clear, unless your DPI scaling setting is at 100%, this game is going to work incorrectly. It'd create a render window that's partly on one monitor and partly on the other.

Rather than force you to change that setting system-wide, the mod fixes it for just this game.

I just checked, mine was set to 100% by default. Still, it's great that you thought of this for those with higher scaling.

I might use this to have Japanese audio... I just hope there won't be unforseen issues somewhere later in the game. IIRC, FFX:I only had English audio even in the JP version, so I'm not sure if there are the same amount of assets for both languages or if that may have some affect to mix and match...

Yes, there is one audio file that does not exist in the Japanese asset tree (for FFX only). I have paid special attention to this and it will play the English audio when it needs that file.

Which one is that, out of curiosity?

Beats me what it pertains to (Dark Aeons maybe?), it's a file called ffx_us_voice08. There is no ffx_jp_voice08.

Hey, Kaldaien, I don't know if this is within the scope of the patch, or if something could be implemented into it for this kind of thing. But as someone who has played FFX (and FFX-2) multiple times, is there someway to add in a cheat option to give all the Al Bhed Primers? Or just trick the games to translate them without the primers?

It'd be nice to beable to straight up and read that with no fuss from the start. And since it doesn't appear that they thought of putting that in the native cheats/special features.. I thought it might be a interesting addition to UPX.

I'm not the mod developer, so I can't speak to what he can or wants to add, but I can say:

You don't need a mod to do that. Search the threads here for someone with a save file that has all the primers, and then use that to import the primers when you start the game at the save point.

Hey Kaldaien, thanks for this mod. But whenever i start any of the FF games either through the launcer or the exe files themselves, it just loads up to a white screen and windows says its not responding. Here are the pastebins for the http://pastebin.com/mdcYDrzx UnX.log and http://pastebin.com/8LwhKFTd dxgi.log .The games work when i take out the mod files though. If it matters, im running windows 10 64-bit.

On purpose, it's blocked by the mod because it would crash it otherwise.

I tried to use Open Broadcaster Software instead of Frap but the game crashed as soon as I start recording/streaming.

What's the feature that require Frap to be disable? Can you make an option to turn it on/off? It should be find to trade that feature for Frap, if it's not something important.

Same problem as someone else had earlier.

Turn "Allow Custom D3D" off in your RTSS settings.

Ah, I sort of figured this was going to happen. There's an asset called Videos/FMVList_Asia.txt in addition to JP and US.

I wasn't quite sure, but now I'm almost positive, those videos are for Chinese and Korean locales. I'll whip up yet another fix in 0.0.4 to change those videos to US :)

It crashes when I launch the game

I tried disabling NvAPI in the ini but for some reasons it still tries to initialize it and fails

Whenever I buy a new Steam game, the first thing I do is grab either the 64-bit (latest version of the 64-bit DLL is in my Dark Souls III project) or 32-bit version of my DLL and drop it in place for the achievement unlock sound alone :P

Mind sharing more info about this?
I've tried doing so in Ori and the Blind Forest DE.
I've copied the dxgi.dll and dxgi.ini to the game folder, noticed the exe has d3d9.dll string, so I renamed both of your files to match that.

the achievement part of the ini looks like this:
[Steam.Achievements] NoSound=false NotifyCorner=4 NotifyInsetX=0 NotifyInsetY=0 SoundFile= TakeScreenshot=false

Yet no sound plays when I gain an achievement.
