You could play with German subs. The German manual says the subs won't sometimes match the english dub because they stuck close to the Japanese original script.
I have released UnX v 0.0.2, which now lets you select (if you are not using one of the hex edited executables):
If you're using one of the hex edited executables, none of those features work and you're stuck with JP audio language always.
I will add the original authors of this "guide" to the AUTHORS section of my mod when I eventually release the source code.
I'd personally recommend using "Mediafire" since it's the cheapest at the moment (~5$/month for 1-terabyte storage).
"Amazon Web Services" also have good offers too.
On topic: Awesome; I got nothing else to add at this point.
Yes, do not use the modified executables. Use my mod instead. It fixes a bunch of other stuff too.
GitHub? That's where I store the source code for my mods.
No I meant the sound Effect Language thing. What's the difference?
I could not say, probably stuff like Moogles and such. There is a bank of audio files called SFX/jp_..., separate from voice and fmv. So for completeness sake, I allow you to pick the audio language for each type of sound.
My project pre-exists this by the way.
Originally it was to fix cursor management and DPI scaling, I've since added the audio language selection to it so that you don't have to screw around with executables and scramble for a solution when Square Enix patches the game.
would kinda be bad download a mod that does more than the audio
or you have toggles for everything ?
Fixes whatever else I find is broken in the game.
No, there are no toggles. You can configure everything from the INI file though. Toggling audio language while the game is running is probably a disaster waiting to happen.
