Any way to tone down the motion blur?
I don't care about the FPS that much, but this motion blur is, in my opinion, extremely jarring

This. Anyone know a solution? Moving around is annoying due to motion blur.

Agreed

Kaldaien may be able to do something with this. Request it in the Untitled Project X thread.

That's what you get when the game is locked to 30fps.

Type 0 HD is locked at 30FPS and can have motion blur turned off though. And its quite playable that way in my opinion.

The Game doesn't have Motion Blut outside of cutscenes and to some degree in battles or what are you referring to? Maybe I'm just blind?

When moving around there's some minor motion blur. Your character is slightly blurred when moving around.

What i mean is that there will be motion blur either way. If all blur is removed and you use a high refresh rate, you'll get jarring stuttering in any scene in motion.
I hate motion blur myself, but i'll take a bit of blur over stutter any day.

Comparison gif to show what i mean, notice the combined motion blur and stuttering at 30 fps: https://www.geeksaresexy.net/2015/06/10/15fps-vs-30fps-vs-60fps-animated-gif/

Nope. Wrong. Has zero to do with 30fps. We are talking about post processing motion blur, nothing more.

Really cool, I can actually easily see a difference between 144 and 72 FPS, take that people who believe 60 = 144 xD

There's no motion blur effect that does this. The only motion blur the game has is used during cutscenes. This is probably a problem with your monitor.

The only possibility is that you are seeing the unsharp mask filter and incorrectly associating that with motion blur.

That's judder, rather than blur. Blur actually fixes judder, so that's usually why 30 FPS games have motion blur filters as a post-processing effect.
