mouse cursor always visible?

i didn't notice this when i read the reviews, but my mouse cursor is always visible! (playing with xbox 360 controller) - anybody else have this problem? any solutions? how are you guys dealing with it? - is having the mouse cursor always visible bothersome enough to return the game? i think it looks pretty good with the updated graphics and love the new music, the onyl thing i really dont like about this purchase is that x2 also came with it.

Have you tried using UnX (see thread on this forum)? That probably has something that fixes it.

Also, give X-2 a chance. It has some of the best combat in the entire FF series.

I use an Xbox one controller. When the game starts, I just move the arrow of the screen with the mouse. Problem solved.

Not really :P But if you're willing to put a band-aid on something that needs stitches and call that solved, go ahead.

Yeah, the cursor is auto-hidden after (I think) 1.5 seconds given the default config. You can customize it to your liking, 0.0 will hide it permanently.

There's no real disadvantage to doing that, because the PC game menu actually uses a different cursor and you'd be seeing the Windows cursor on top of the in-game cursor and that's even more annoying than seeing the Windows cursor all the time.
