Ez and cheap shelter walls. There are "ight" version without furniture (only shelter wall)
Or use heat resistant animals. Camels. Best. (IIrc they have 100°C heat tolerance)
The "Camping Stuff" sadly doesn't come with coolers. I looked at "Set Up Camp" before but I still need some portable coolers or something to quickly cool stuff w/o electricity during the night. I need around 3 coolers + 600Watt electricity to cool and creating those items and disassembling them again is kinda expensive for every rest.
I need "Set Up Camp" + "Camping Stuff" + some sort of portable cooler mod.
There is a mod what has camping cooler/heater, fueled by chemfuel. Unfortunately I can't recall the name, I'm tried once and removed it (good mod, but I'm found it useless for my gamestyle).
But collecting 50 woods (even on extreme desert) is not impossible. 2 cactus, and you have around 50-70 woods. (Depends on their growth %)

It's a miracle that my colonists can even go outside without instantly dying from the air burning their lungs and boiling their blood. W/o a heatwave it still averages 76 degrees according to the overworld map and during the day usually around 82-89 degrees. Not even a cactus can grow/spawn and not a single wildlife animal ever spawns.
How strong is a passive cooler anyway? I did some tests in dev mode:

Result:
w/o a heatwave during the day I need 3 passive coolers (=150 wood) to cool a 5x5 area down enough to get rid of the heatstrokes with a single wooden wall. And I would have to setup camp like this I estimate every 3 tiles or so + the nights... W/o some sort of portable cooler mod I would have to take well over a thousand wood along with me just for coolers...
Maybe I could just pick passive coolers up again and put them back into my caravan inventory they would actually be useful. But I would still need a more powerful one.
I wish I could mod them myself I know C# very well but I have no idea how that works in combination with RimWorld.
Its not bad luck. At dangerous temperature, traders wont come. And raiders are also realy rare.

Try this. Looks like the heaters, and heaters are portable. But idk this mod.

Or this. Same, idk this mod.

This turns passive coolers uninstallabe and reinstallable.
Those are all what i found.
