Keep on truckin, see you on the road.
Erm I think you posted the right answer to the wrong question
Ah, cheating ;) I use the cabin view at all times, and no cheat mirrors either :D
But then again, I am using a Logitech G27 :P
agree. when i startet playing i had the camera from outside turned on, and after a lot of parking i now stay in the cockpit and only uses mirrors.
So if you want to make the trailer go left you must turn the wheel towards the right and vise versa at the same time you have to go very slowly and make corrections as you back up.If you start going off you should stop and pull fowards so the truck and trailer are in line(more or less) with each other then start backing up again.Slow backing and small wheel adjustments are key.
I agree with the 5 head out the window view being the best mode.
You also do not have to perfectly nail the outline so long as you are generally inside the pattern once you get the entire trailer over the patttern it will trigger.
At least you have cheat views in a real truck you only have mirriors though in very tricky spots a spotter would help.
Pro tip: you do not have to anywhere near perfectly inline with the parking spot to make it once you get the hang of it.
Another idea try backing up on the side that you are used to driving on in real life.So if you are from the UK.Australia,or such and are used to driving on the right side pratice in a right hand drive truck in the game.(any truck that you own can be converted to right hand drive via upgrades)
I recommend taking short jobs (within a city) for a while. That way you will get more practice without "wasting time" to sooner or later figure out how it works. Most importantly, remember that the trailer will turn in the opposite direction to the way you turn the wheel. Turning the wheel to the right will turn the trailer to the left. And, turning the wheel to the left will turn the trailer to the right.
