Mods cause dlc unlock

My kids have been messing around with mods and suddenly I've noticed all dlc is unlocked and installed! I don't want to get in trouble with steam. Does anybody know how to revert this please. Idk how this is even possible?

Anti-Cheat and DRM systems aren't bound to multiplayer only. Any game can have it, some solutions for SP just might not be as strict as the systems used for MP.
