Volvo and Scania make the trucks with the most horsepower, but it's not that important unless you care about acceleration (depending if you drive realistically with the speed limiter on or not) since they all handle similarly. It's down to personal preference.

You can do quick jobs which allow you to drive random trucks - It's a way of previewing the vehicles in the game and finding out which one you like best.

Volvo trucks are the ones that I feel are best in the game, interior and HP wise, but what truck looks best to you is something that only you can really decide.

I agree with Volvo!!

The best trucks in priority: 1) Volve FH16-750 Globetrotter XL 2) Scania 730 Streamline. After that DAF, MAN, Renault, Mercedes. Alone at the bottom is Iveco

Interior wise all the various brands have their unique appeals, so as DarkHoodness suggested, try them out via quick jobs.

The interior preference is going to be subjective. I don't think the Volvo interiors are very nice. Just lots of high quality looking materials, but the dash size is big and the layout isn't great looking.

The Renault interiors are my favourite. The Premium has a decent small footprint and really good mirrors. The Magnum has pretty good visability.

Vehicles are like people!! thay all have their good and bad things. Thats why I like this game, you start as Agency Driver driving every Make and type so when you are ready, you can buy the unit you like the most
For me ! Always the MAN.

My favourites are in order of best truck is the volvo, scania and man. I'm driving a Man atm but I do spend more time with the volvo. Iveco and renault simply havent the horsepower for getting up mountains comfortably. You need bigger horsepower for that. PLus its not all about speed as you are limited by road conditions and load being carried.

I just finished driving all the brands to get the test drive achievement. As has already been said the best truck is rather subjective. My prefered truck is still the Scania but I was suprised how much I liked driving the MAN and DAF trucks. The Volvo has the most power but the brakes weren't as good. The Majestic was nice but nothing stood out. The Renault does the job and that's about it. I could not wait to get the needed miles on the Iveco, I hated that truck.

DAF has a nice interior but less hp

Well my personal favorite is scania and volvo, not only because of horsepoower and torque (i use a weaker engine sometimes just for fun) but also because i like the exterior and interior, and because there are many mods for them.

I personally would never drive a renault, i think they are crappy, Iveco is slightly better but i dont like it either, also there aer little to no mods for them.

Majestic (mercedes) and MAN are good trucks but i dont really like their appearance.

Daf is a cool truck, i specially like the triple wipers on the windshield, and has suficient power for any cargo ingame. (if you play realstically not if you like racedriving at 150 km/h :P)

It's up to you really.

I've been driving a MAN TGX for a while now and really like it, drove an FH before that, and might get a Scania next. Variety is the spice of life and all that :P
