If you have to do the same underclock as me double check after switching the clock that multicore enhancement stays off. That is what ruined my 13900k last year. I got a free 14900k but still had a problem. When I used a 14700k in between there were no clock issues.
My CPU already runs stock settings with Multicore Enhancement and Intel Adaptive Boost Technology both disabled so I don't fry it.
It was worth a try and thanks for posting.
I decided to try it out anyway to see if it would make a difference. It doesn't in my case for the reasons I have stated.
Claiming that your "solution" is for 14th and 13th gen Intel cpu's is not specific enough. Read this: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000095419/processors.html
APO is enabled but not bringing anything to ETS2 as we agree on because the game is not supported.
I still believe that the game needs further optimization. I just wonder when SCS will get it done. I’ve had stutter since 1.46 when I was gaming via GeForce NOW on my Mac. Back then it was very little. When the game was upgraded to 1.50 and gaming on my PC things got worse. Just did a run from reworked Germany to northern Denmark which has not been updated. Once I entered Denmark there was no stutter whatsoever. Graphics in Denmark are very basic compared to Germany but still.
I agree on the choice of CPU brand. I will not go Intel the next time either.
