If I would go only for pretty, I think that would be DAF.
The OP obviously asked for an opinion. I gave him mine just as you did with yours. It gave me the impression he needed some insight, beside his own.
By the way, are you the "correct answers" police ?
I may in passing notice the odd thing I like about an interior, like 'that shade of wood panelling is nice' or 'this cab has great visibility'. And I will take time to pick my favourite interior options when setting a truck up to drive. But once they're set, I just kinda become blind to them and don't really care all that much. I have much stronger opinions on truck exteriors instead, and when I'm driving I'm looking out at the scenery rather than at the cab.
The only time I do pay much attention is when something is particularly bad, and it really irritates me. Like if a type of upholstery is especially ugly in my eyes, or if a truck's sat nav screen is especially small and hard to read. Things like that are enough to put me off a truck entirely, but there's not really much about the interior that will especially draw me to a truck.
I guess the old saying 'I'm not a critic, but I know what I don't like' applies to me in this case. So long as I have my bobblehead dog and nothing stands out as glaringly infuriating, I don't really care...
Mine of course. Besides that, it depends on personal opinion and preference, what one would rate as "nice".
And that's the wrong point in it. We can only give opinion, but no insight. Because as our answers show it might be different for every person. You prefer the design of DAF, what is boring to me. You probably find Renault cockpits too overdetailed and playful. And practicality is in the eye of the beholder anyways. What works for one will be unuseable for another. So insight can only be obtained in the content browser or even better by driving them all in short contracts.
No in the "don't make another fake brand fan by telling them they 'must' use this brand because it is best" police.
I really don't get your point of view, you're telling me I'm wrong while we both might be wrong and all the yada yada. I honestly don't get your logic.
Who are "them" and where did I've stated my opinion is a "must". The only one acting like having the all undeniable truth around here is you.
I always thought a question like this is opinion based as it's a personal choice on what you like best.
Personally I'm really liking the new MAN TG3 TGX right now. I hate digital mirrors IRL due to reliability and repair issues but in game I love them. Being able to use a fairly tight FOV without needing to turn the camera to see a the left or front "mirror" is great. I also quite like the TG3's digital dashboard readout and easily visible headlight light state dial.
Similarly I quite enjoy the camera mirrors and digital dash on the new DAFs.
I used to use both Volvos a lot but I think they're really starting to show their age. I'm sure I'll fall back in love with the FH when the remade 2012 is introduced with 2020 parts.
I also quite enjoy the Renault T Evo with a tablet in the center console for nav. The ability to swap info and nav between the guage cluster screen and center console shown off for the upcoming E-Tech T also looks great.
I also really enjoy the 2016 Scanias. Sure they aren't the newest trucks in the game but they started a new era for quality in SCS's games. The dashboard readouts are quite clear and most information is readily displayed.
You've probably noticed a trend that I mentioned the information readouts more than texture quality, etc. While I do care some about the cabin (i.e. I find the MP3's green interior repulsive), I care more about how good my visibility is, how clear my speed/cc info is, how good the GPS display is, and to a lesser extent what other info is displayed alongside a digital speedo. I like to track the live and average fuel mileage along with trip distance, though I prioritise satisfying my OCD knowing exactly what speed I'm going.
IRL I'm perfectly happy to use an analogue speedo and like to keep as little tech integrated into my vehicle as possible, but in game I enjoy the extra level of clarity large digital displays provide.
In an 80es Donald Duck comic about the home computer revolution someone said that computers should not get so far that people don't make own decisions anymore - in that case illustrated by someone thinking "Shall I wear blue or black trowsers today. Let's see what the computer suggests." Teenage me had a giggle about that. Today middle-age me is afraid we have reached that point.
Sure it is fine to ask other people for opinion. But in the age of influencers it turns more and more from considering opinions to taking opinions as advice.
So while I have written already in short in my first answer: Interior-wise my favourite is the Renault T. First of all I like digital dashboards and especially digital speedometres. And overall it is refreshingly different from the rest, which mostly is "let's try to pretend the driver is sitting in a midsize passenger car" dashboards. Especially true for DAF, Iveco, and the older MAN models.
If I put it down on readibility and overall operation of the truck it is the new generation MAN TGX, especially for its camera mirrors and a functional dashboard. In this point it is for sure better than the Renault T, which with its avantgardistic design sometimes stands in its own way, although the older Renault Magnum and Premium are much "better" in playing hide and seek with gauges.
My general experience from more than 10 years of driving virtual trucks however is that you get used to any of them if you drive them for a longer time. For storyline reasons in my game fictions I have not always driven the trucks I liked but sometimes the ones the story demanded me to, and after some contracts you know where to look and how to operate any of them.
Dude the OP asked "Which truck has the nicest interoirs??"
He didn't said give me something so I can decide for myself. This is actually something that some, including you ASSUMED.
It was obvious he wanted opinions and not some other "witch hunt". Don't you think is kinda silly for each thread they start all people should be extra careful to specify "hey it's something about opinions" when you know some things are just plain old obvious.
