Map mods
Do people still use mods like ProMods?Or is the SCS map decent enough nowadays?

I'm pretty sure there are a lot of Promods users even though the main map is getting better.
How many files is Promods now? Last I had it was 7 files.

People still use ProMods to compliment the SCS map. Gotta have all the map DLC anyway to use ProMods.

I have installed most of the maps listed here: https://forum.scssoft.com/viewtopic.php?t=318383

This added a massive chunk of new roads to explore on top of what the stock SCS maps provide. I don't feel like I'm just driving the same routes over and over again now which is nice.

There are over 500 using the promods mp atm. It overwrites West Balkan dlc map to it's old map at this time.

That looks awesome but seems extremely complicated to download/setup...

Mainly just time consuming to download and get everything arranged right in mod manager.

Main reason I like Promods is the additions further north, like Scotland, Iceland, Svalbard and northern Scandinavia. They've got the bleak, beautiful atmospheres up in those northerly climes really well.
