Truck manufacturers will allow you to go online and buy from them, but you have to be a trusted customer first, so your first few purchases have to be in person. Then once you have enough, the 'buy online' button will be selectable.
Use the console commands to set the in-game time to opening hours for the dealer, using the g_set_time command. Drive to the dealer or again use the console to teleport to one, or the quick travel option to go to a city with a dealer you want to buy from.
All the instructions for using the console commands are in the guides section in this forum. After you have bought a number of trucks, and visited a number of dealers, you can buy on-line in the game without going to a dealer and have the truck delivered to any garage you own, after customising it.
And as others have mentioned, but without putting numbers, after buying the first 5 trucks, you can buy online 24/7.
Similarly, it is with garages, once you have bought 3 garages, you can in future buy any garage you want without having visited it first.
It will instantly move time to 08:00 on the next day the dealer is open.
So if you're at the dealer friday evening 21:00 and you press that button it's monday morning.
But as @Underscore_101_3 said, you can just click on "Visit Truck dealer" and you will be there at opening hours.
Thanks, gotta check that out. I know about the online thing, but as I just started that option inaccessible to me.
There is no game mechanic that would result in it being midnight when you are at a truck dealer.
Even if you sleep, you will wake in the morning at some point. Sleep next to a dealer in a city and visit after sleeping until the morning, you can usually sleep two or three times consecutively to get to morning, if you don't use the time command in the console.
