Vive La France V.S Scandinavia DLC

I would like to buy one of these two DLCs, I have bought the Going East DLC so I will choose one of these two. Since both game passes are the same price, I just want to know which one is better, and which DLC I should buy, regarding the quality, trucks, features, etc.

If you can afford both, I recommend both, If you want Doubles and less Toll booths Scandinavia would be the way to go. If you want to expand the number of cities you have in France then Viva la France would be the go to choice. The Italia DLC is coming tomorrow (December 5th), not in a hurry to get mine, but it does look nice by the screeshots of it.

and to add the italia DLC, its good if you want long length deliverys since its long and narrow

I'm actually curious how long is is gonna be from the most northern city in scandinavia to the most southern city in italy

I would as a Scandinavian say France, mainly because with itaia coming too now, you get a large area with all new content to go back and fourth through. Without having to go through the old parts. I cant stand Germany and the UK without ProMods installed. I have played mostly without map mods in ETS2 because its a pain to keep updated and sometimes you get invisible walls, even tho that seem to be quite rare now. I have all the DLC and now back on ProMods again... :D

France is different then the rest of the map and it definitely won't feel the same, believe me. This France DLC has such a distinctive real feeling of driving in France, also all those small roads and village you will drive thru. It's amazing! Just like Scandinavia, it's amazing too.

I really recommend you to buy these 2, you decide what you buy first of course but it's really good for the both of them.

Get Italy today at full price and wait until the Christmas sale to get france and scandinavia DLC's as they will be reduced and you will be able to get both for more or less the same priced as buying one now.

Italy won't be in the sale for a few months, maybe easter 2018 sale or even the summer sale, so its better to buy Italy now and wait for the sale for the rest imo.

Once you have them all it really does open up the map in a great way and expands the game in many more ways than just roads.

If you don'yt want to wait though and want to get Italy later on then my suggestion goes for France first as it links better to the rest of Europe, Scandinavia with it being at the top doesnt really intergrate with the rest of the map and is more like a stand alone area, it is worth getting though as the scenery is breathtaking and double trailers are great fun, especially on the mountain passes :)

No I have the france DLC, alot of areas of that section just feel empty or the same as the rest of the center of the map, at least scandinavia has really nice roads with scenary around it, and from the looks of the screenshots, italy will have nice scenery too

That's a good choice, though I'm not sure if Italia will be much cheaper during the sale since it just came out

you should have done it in the other order really, highly doubt Italia will be on sale in the Christmas sale, Whereas going east, france and scandanavia will be.

also if you are going to get the other packs, high caro etc, wait for those for the sale as they tend to go around 79p each

You have seen most of France anyway but in less detail. Scandinavia is an entirely new region never seen in Euro Truck. I would go for Scandinavia. I love what they have done with France and Italy, but as I said alot of the places are similar to before with just better details on roads and landmarks. Of course there are new places to visit too. But the experience driving from Stockholm, Sweden to Bergen, Norway, and notice how the roads become smaller and smaller the further up you go is pretty amazing.

Well I have already bought Going East and France, I'm buying a 20 pound card, and the both Italia AND scandinavia bundle (since I have everything else) is less than 20 pounds so even if there won't be a tremendous discount during the Christmas sale I still can afford both and even pick up an extra DLC.
