Gear shifter Logitech G920 configuration help?

I have connected up new gear shifter to my PC has acknoledged it but on ETS2 it will not move out of nutrual what do I do?

What type of transmission have you chosen? (manual or one of the automatic)

I have chosen H-Shifter is that the right one to use or does it have to me manual?

If you want use manual gears, yes, then you may choose H-shifter and setup your H-shifter for that.
Note that, it have 2 gear positions in several of the gears. (press down the stick when you pus´h it in it's position to find the 2'nd gear in same position)

Thank you for the video. When I put the gearstick into 4th it went into reverse. When I put the clutch down then into 1st it went into nutral how do I set up the gears so that they are in order?

I assume you know the pattern of a manual transmission, but if you don't, 1st is left and up, 2nd is left and down, 3rd is straight up, 4th is straight down, 5th is right and up, and 6th is left and up. On the G29/G920 shifter, reverse is engaged by pushing down on the knob and putting it where 6th is.

Use that pattern to assign the gears properly in the settings. Start with the shifter in neutral, click the position you want to assign, then put the shifter in that gear and put it back in neutral. Repeat for other gears.

If the shifter isn't in one of the seven positions you assigned (1 2 3 4 5 6 and R) the truck will shift to neutral. If you're using a truck with more than 6 gears you will need to set up your range and/or splitter accordingly.

The default shift patterns you can select in-game will work with any shifter - the key thing is learning what the shift pattern is.

Nothing. Just go into the game and set up the gears. You can assign buttons on the wheel to perform certain desktop actions but for games you don't need to do anything in the Logitech software, except for adjusting the sensitivity of the wheel if needed, and you can enable/disable and adjust the force of the centering spring in there as well.

Bit late (5 years ago) but I have an issue, same wheel same gear shifter. I can see on install wizard that everything is lightening up ehen I press it (gears, clutch etc) but when I try to start the truck in game it will just not change from neutral.. I'm lost
