Controller key bindings
I know its totally personal reference for key mappings, but many pros here who have several years of experience, playing the game if you could share your key bindings on the gamepad which are quite efficient than those default ones..

Kindly share your controller key bindings

thanks

I personally have an Xbox Controller with following keybinds:
Gas = RT
Brake = LT
left/right blinker = LB/RB
left Stick = steering /// stick up/down = shifting up/down
Pressing the left stick = reactivating of the cruise control
Dpad up = GPS (keyboard F5 button)
Dpad Left = activating (Enter)
Dpad down = Status Info (Keyboard F6)
Dpad right = (un-)coupling Trailer
Y = First person perspective (Keyboard 1)
X = Lights (Keyboard L)
A = cruise Control
B = wipers
right stick left/right = looking left or right
pressing right stick = engine on/off
and at the end the 2 buttons in the middle = (left button) Handbrake
right button = pause

Hope that maybe helps :D Have a good day!

Np man, i personally used this seetings over 2 years and i love them, and i have one more thing but on the keyboard: I have the arrow keys up/down for the cruise control speed, so when i hit the arrow key up my cruise control goes 5 more km/h up for me.
Not needed but I use it a lot though.

Is it not possible to bind key combos to controller like Farming Simulator style? Example: RB+d-up=shift up and RB+d-down=shift down etc

I made my own binding before starting the game but I have not played it for years...

Few questions. I have never used hand break so in what situations do you use it? Also I use only one button for cruise control.

It's very handy (pun intended) to have it when you're waiting at a junction on an incline, so you don't have to hold the normal brake button to keep from rolling back/forwards. Or even if you stop in a rest area which is slightly inclined. Can also be good in emergency stop situations.

As to CC - I love having multiple buttons for it, because if you play it right, you can control your truck entirely by pushing those buttons, and never have to use accel/brake at all save for low speed manoeuvring. Get up over 20mph, activate CC, and then use the buttons to key in the speed you want. Make sure your gearbox has a retarder on it and it will even use that to slow you down when you set the CC lower.
