What's You Favorite Weapon???

14 Different Weapons. Which is your Fav?

Everyone out here talking about all sorts of crashes and ♥♥♥♥... I've never had any issue been having a blast!! HR 120+ already and I've tried various weapons, First the bow, the insect glaive, then charge blade.

However... none of these hold a candle to my baby.

THE HUNTING HORN

When hunting in a group, it can be a real pain when you have someone who is a little bad at dodging attacks so they die a lot and the hunt is over!!

Well that is no longer a problem! Just use the healing hunting horns and regenerate HP with healing bubbles and healing melodies! And if you think that's all you do, you're wrong! With the stunner build you can just stun the monster with your echo wave spam and let your fellow hunters deal that crazy damage, all thanks you to your Attack Up [L] .

Gunlance is my personal pick. Standing up in the monster's face, toe to toe, never moving from your spot and responding to any aggression with a retaliatory barrage of explosions.

I have a buddy who swears by the hunting horn too. If you're like him, you may enjoy the Wide Range skill to share your pots across the party, including armorskins.

If you like that, you might also like the Lance in Monster Hunter Wilds. I miss the Gunlance from Monster Hunter Rise, though.

Yeah gunlance is working its way up there, its also very satisfying sound wise.

But i have to go with Sword and Shield here, really like dit in World, do still really like it here, it can do it all.

Hunting Horn gets a meantion here, if it wasnt even more complicated then in world.

I can not play charge blade with any kind of skill, but I love how they look.
LBG is a waste of a weapon slot imo.

HBG. I've played Dual Blades a lot, however something about HBG just clicks with me. I use everything it has to offer and it doesn't feel annoying or overwhelming. Feels natural.

For Real?: Great Sword

Comfort-wise: Swagaxe (my actual main this game)

I-Don't-Use-It-But-I-Would-Give-An-Intimate-Hug-To-Anyone-That-Does: Lance

I do want to main Lance somewhere down the line, since I love having a massive, invincible shield in other games. And no, Gunlance doesn't count. ONLY THE BIGGEST shields GREET MY HANDS.

I usually give each weapon a test with the new mechanics, and I usually pick my favorite for that game or expansion.
