Now that the dust has settled, what went wrong with Wilds?
The honeymoon period is ending and even the biggest Capcom shills are starting to point out how dead this game’s endgame is compared to base World and Rise. Not only that but the content that is there is a joke, all tempered monsters besides maybe Gore can be EASILY finished in 4 minutes or less. The wounds system and Sekrit are both ridiculously overtuned as well. It’s time we let Capcom know that this is unacceptable and we can’t let this become the future of MH

It was too much boring af story i was forced to follow to really enjoy the Game properly - MH should be hard and LR should be not a weak Hack & Slay, i remember farming the Low Rank Monsters in World to get the Weapons and Armor Sets done - played Wilds in the starter Armor cause it has the best stats you can get early on and maybe even later.
Swapped it out when i was ALLOWED to Hunt and craft the Uth Duna Armor - why block the Apex Monsters Armors till you get there in the Story? - so fking lame.:steamfacepalm:

The Story is lame, why should i care about a Kiddo that went through all these Areas without gettin ambushed or attacked by any of these monsters?
How is that even possible? - You have to travel through all of them to get into the Desert.

Realised a few minutes Ago that captured Monsters dont count as Hunted in the Stats to get the Title parts.

A lot of things, but most have already been addressed.

Performance, seikret, palico, endgame, textures and visual quality, multiple DRMs, and microtransactions just to name a few.
I love how it was EXACTLY the same when World came out.

You know guys it's OK to stop playing a game after you finished it.
I'm 80+h in this game i feel like i'm maybe at the end, still playing sometimes, and it's fine.
Still 78h of gameplay more that any AAA we have.
Too much handholding.
The average PC user has unstable memory settings and or badly maintained computers.
Imagine thinking World's performance issues are the same as Wilds. For most people, turning down the volumetrics greatly improved performance. There is no setting in Wilds that has that effect.

Let's also not forget that World launched seven years ago. They had seven years and still screwed up worse.

Let this be a salient lesson in how to never pre-order. You pay more and receive less, every single time.
Its all been addressed, performance issues and it being too easy was mostly it. It still feels good to fight the monsters tho, hit-boxes seem fine, the actual game is 100% there but I legit never hit a wall. In mhw I got stuck on diablos and needed to make new armor and such. This time it wasn't needed, i beat every mission. Maybe its harder for first time players?

Always. In every single case.

Even with games that are optimized you should wait. There will always be patches that improve the experience for the patient gamers. Steam has so many good games to play in the meantime that there is no need to give in to FOMO. Repeatedly giving in only makes you weaker.
For me, it's Seikret. I play and main ranged weapons. Selkrets love blocking my view. I move, it moves to block it again. And sometime Seikret's ai get confused. Can't decide which way is the closest.

The endgame in World and Rise, at launch, were equally barren with people only farming for things they wanted so they could keep playing the game as nothing was actually a challenge. Sound familiar?

Nothing, like world optimisation problem, lack of content.
Leave the game, come back in few month see how it goes.
Game obviously:

1. Was rushed
2. Dev time wasn't allocated as they said
3. Likely wasn't in REAL development for more than 3 years, despite what anyone says

I sure hope 1-3 is true, because if 1-3 isn't true, then it means the dev and publisher are both incompetent and should be avoided in the future.
