I got KICKED for posting DPS meter in chat! WHAT THE?

I contributed to the team by showing DPS after we downed the first monster (there were two we had to fight) and I got kicked shortly afterwards. DPS meter is there to ENCOURAGE players to do better. Must have been some low DPS lead who felt his jimmies rustled over his low DPS.

Keep it to yourself, Why even bother caring about the dps in a squad when the monsters get slayed quicker anyway compared to world.

but relax, no it wasnt me, because i play solo only. and im not stupid enough to bring/share dpsmeter to the table for a most arcade-ish hacknslash game. also i wouldnt suffer it. its not FF14 dungeon boss. nor a mmorpg.

Nobody is mad at you, we're grilling you for violating an online game etiquette that has existed probably since before you were born.

Dropping unsolicited DPS meter addon results has always been considered rude. People were getting kicked from parties in the earliest days of World of Warcraft for doing it, and you're going to get kicked for it now too. Some games will actually ban you for doing it.

Take the hint, if nobody asks, keep it to yourself.

That's because nobody appreciates some smug ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ with a dps meter. There's been many of hosts with one in MHW and Rise that kicked players because their dps wasn't high enough apparently. You deserve that kick. Those dps meters only bring toxicity that we don't want or need for that matter.

Posting the DPS meter is a ♥♥♥♥ move. I remember one time I was doing 75% of the damage in a hunt and I still kicked the person who posted the stats in chat because it's just not cool to do that unless you're with friends
