I got KICKED for posting DPS meter in chat! WHAT THE?

I contributed to the team by showing DPS after we downed the first monster (there were two we had to fight) and I got kicked shortly afterwards. DPS meter is there to ENCOURAGE players to do better. Must have been some low DPS lead who felt his jimmies rustled over his low DPS.

well no, hbg elemental now is way to broken for a weapon that have a shield built in but this is just my opinion since i only try 3 weapon so far swx hammer and hbg

If you basically show the entire team that you're using mods and there is an anti-mod belligerent hosting..... the consequences are fairly predictable, wouldn't you say?

IRONICALLY.... DPS checks are the most surefire way of knowing someone else is using a damage-boosting mod... but don't expect them to forgive you for that.

Buddy posting unsolicited DPS meter results is bad form in literally EVERY game where DPS meters are an addon.

This has been the case in MMOs for decades, and in some games they actively ban you for doing it.

DPS meters are for your personal interest and assisting in optimizing your gameplay, keep it to yourself.
