DD2 should be all you need... this looks and feels just like that game. Which was also a shame because I like it, but ended up quitting because it just felt clunky to play... I expect the same here... love to be proven wrong.

lel, keep hoping and coping.
They won't fix performances, because they can't.

Here's what clearly happened:

Capcom saw success after success, and instead of keeping in that direction, they got insanely greedy and told MH team to just use their proprietary RE engine to save money.

MH team obviously told them it can't work, but greedy execs being greedy execs, they just waved their hand and said "We're not paying you to make excuses".

And clearly the same thing happened with Dragon's Dogma 2.

Thankfully for Capcom, there's no business on Earth or History where customers are as subservient and willing to pay for the privilege of eating sh*t than the gaming industry.

Can't wait for launch day and for all of us to be like "we told you so".

This generation of gamers are nothing but whiny little kids. If you don't have a PC that can run I am feel bad for you but the game runs perfectly for me on ultra settings. If a PS6 comes out I am not going to complain that my PS2 cannot run the games. I guess developers shouldn't make games that have higher requirements because they have to worry about kids trying to play it on cardboard box?

Go play something else. I am sure there are some 2d indie games out there that your PC can handle.

OK, they didn't address performances in the 2nd beta but hoping for significant improvements by launch is a big cope. It feels like Dragon's Dogma 2's release all over again. Anyway, let's hope that Capcom will provide a demo when the final product launches because there's no way that I'm shelling out 70 bucks based on the beta alone.

Correction, todays generation of gamers are blindly defending lazy developers and studios shoveling out ♥♥♥♥ games that just get slapped on with upscaling and frame gen to "make the game run better"

Oh you want to play MH Wilds at 60 fps or higher? Sorry the game is poorly optimized and stuck at 30 fps, just buy a 4090 or 5090 and use upscaling and frame gen to reach those high frame rates LOL, nevermind the fact the input latency is going to be hotdog water because you're trying to frame gen on sub 30 fps! LOL $70 please.

It is going to be Dragon's Dogma 2 release all over again! You're straight up gaslighting yourself if you think other wise.

Buying the best hardware money can buy and the game still runs like a mess, how embarrassing. All the mid tier and low tier spec gamers are laughing at you.

Launch performance should be similar to the benchmark performance

The problem is that the benchmark is garbage and doesn't show any combat, weather effect, no other players, it's just a stroll in the desert to keep the framerate as high as possible.

Also denuvo will be added and the game is already CPU intensive
Indeed. I just ran the benchmark to see if there were noticeable differences. Final score: Excellent, averaging 75 FPS. Problem is, the test also includes pre-rendered cutscenes that aren't that demanding and are pushing the score up, whereas the framerate for the gameplay portions (without combat) is all over the place, with big dips here and there (some aggressive shader caching maybe?).

This is a benchmark thus it is supposed to be heavy on the system but it ends up not being that informative due to the reasons cited above.

All in all, this is matching my experience with the 2nd beta so far - that is an inconsistent framerate overall - thus I think that I'll sit this one out for the moment and see how it unfolds before committing to a purchase. The game seems really fun thus I really hope that Capcom will manage to sort things out, even though I wouldn't hold my breath given how they handled DD 2's post-launch.
benchmark is a lie and it has the updated performance
