Tempered Mizutsune and Zoh Shia
I love them both but i would say Tempered Mitzutsune is tougher than Zoh fight. Getting triple carted from the fully charge tail slam is scary. How come i only come across Zoh Shia complaints in this discussion and not Mitzutsune? I'm shock xD but it was fun and challenging.

Mizutsune is generally just easier to dodge and more "fair" with the way it attacks. I think most people's experience with carting to Zoh Shia is being hit with a downward flame breath that sends you across the room and then hit by a giant fireball follow-up that is pretty much impossible to avoid if your weapon doesn't sheathe quickly, or something along those lines.

If you don't get up after the 3rd small fireball, you're golden.

It's possible that Mizu's moveset is still familiar to lots of people because it was in Rise whereas Zoh Shia is brand new and has several huge area attacks that can be troublesome if you are out of position. Blocking is also quite effective against Mizutsune if you're worried about dying, but it can get you killed against Zoh Shia due to his multi-hit attacks (especially the repeated fireballs). The Zoh Shia fight is also much longer so there's more risk of making a mistake. Lastly, Mizu's armor and weapons are pretty bad at the moment so I would guess most people just get a couple kills and move on to farming other stuff instead (like Zoh Shia).

As an SnS user I didn't find tempered Mizu to be any issue at all and I am far from an elite MH player, though I was a bit surprised by the damage output at first. Zoh Shia gets significantly easier with more kills and practice, but i still find myself getting caught every now and then due to bad positioning. It can also be a problem if you don't manage the crystals correctly/run out of elemental slinger ammo when he does one of his supers. Mizutsune is much simpler and just hits very hard with most of its attacks.

I don't really get it either but....
Zoh Shia is a tank, while Mizutsune is a 'glass-cannon'.

I'm guessing that a lot of Hunters seem to have a big problem with their endurance and are also glass-cannons themselves. Tank + glass cannon = a lot of shattered glass...

Alot of the people that would complain probable cant fish...
Lot of Hunters using glass cannon builds they found online no doubt about it.

Earplugsx3 very good for surviving.
Defensex4 jack up that DEF stat, goes super high on a full Arkveld/G.Ark set.

I love a fight way more if I happen to get carted frequently. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the Zoh Shia fight, but both Mizu and Zoh are not challenging enough. The only other MH game I've played is World, and I still suffer nightmares from those fights.
Zoh Shia is a long fight that legit gets harder as it goes on, while Mizitsune is just a normal monster with an extra bubble mechanic that can destroy new players who made it to HR without learning the game basics like dive-evade and flashing healthbar indicator

Eh, id say the hardest stage is his second one as it has that giant AoE Wylk Crystal blast.
Otherwise, his third stage is the easiest imho, as his whole body is literally all weak points at this point.
after fighting both for quite a few times I feel like Zoh Shia is easier to telegraph but he can get you with some bs chain moves. I had him one time hit me across the ground then spam five fire-ball moves in a row which is uncommon. My character was down to avoid two since you have invincibility when on the ground but after standing up I couldn't block in time and that usually gets me. Other than that he's easy just very tanky.

Mizu on the other hand is a bit more easier to approach but some moves are so fast its hard to tell when it will do the tail slam. If your playing a weapon with a shield you may have time to block so it aint bad but I imagine this will get people who can't sheath fast or dodge in time. Without buffs it will one shot you but if you use a few defense buffs you can tank it. Most people also run armor not fully upgraded so gotta take all those things in.

overall I think they should keep the monsters at this difficulty since it feels fair. At first I thought they were too strong but after fighting them for a few times you learn their moveset.
I'm way more comfortable with Zoh Shia done like 40 of him, very fun on IG. Tempered Mizu is still pretty new to me, it's literally just trying to learn the tell for the tail slam atp. I don't like Mizu's wilds theme though tbqh.
