simple and clean
Not really an issue of fun, it was an issue of lack of danger.
You could easily dodge every attack,
HBG especially was balanced on having low mobility but in return a ton of damage options.
Especially it's new counter block system
2. Even before TU1, using HBG on foot are much popular than Seikret HBG simply because it doesn't have damag reduction, easier to change fire mode, while HBG already has good defensive mechanic via block
HBG Seikret exist as an optional build that born from creativity, it's not an uber broken build, it exist so people can have fun and experiment more w the giant chicken.
Capcom can nerf the whole damage to 90% and people will still using it because it's still exist, and Zoh Shia HBG + Scorcher damage are not reduced so as well.
If Capcom want the Seikret playstyle to completely out of the picture, then they better disable attacking while on Seikret.
Pretty much retired from the game outright from the shock.
Their way of solving this "problem" of players enjoying the game in ways using mechanics that THEY designed and tested during a lengthy beta test period using such arbitrary methods can't be described as anything but clumsy.
lmao
It took me about 50 HBG runs to figure out how to even use the shield, since I always went Power Barrel in every single previous MH game and just tend to dodge.
