STOP Leaving Multiplayer Games!!
It's ok if you cart, there is NO NEED for you to leave the game because you feel guilty, embarrassed or feel like you're going to get kicked. DON'T LEAVE!

1) You gotta learn the fight, so stay and learn it
2) When you randomly join a multiplayer game, that means the host KNOWS the risk of people joining (can cart)
3) You're in it until the END (either failed quest or you beat the monster)

There is no reason for you to quit unless it's an emergency, but I've encounter TOO many times of somebody carting and soon afterwards leaving.

STAY IN THE GAME. Either we beat the monster or we fail. And it's ok if we fail, we'll learn! :DDMap:

Soon after they cart they get disconnected? I've seen it happen in about 1/5 hunts: somebody carts and within 20 seconds they leave. Could have been kicked or disconnected, but I feel as this isn't a coincidence.

ive literally crashed as i cart in ice dragon before, many times when i git hit as well.
Not necessary people are leaving your quest, in many cases, people are having connection issues.

I've had an entire group disband when in a lobby at 2/3 of carts multiple times and it was a complete disconnect rather than anyone leaving the quest. We all were dumped in our own version of the quest.
People kick because they play terrible and then they blame the guy nobody knows....lol
this is why almost never play mp.
Reminds me of the Movie Brave Heart- when the Scotts are lined up for war against the English. The Scotts are going to leave not wanting to fight for the Snobish nobles. The Nobles yell DON'T GO!!!! STAY until we've negotiated.
The Scotts end up winning due to the Leadership of William Wallace, so, moral of the story, only stay if you're fighting with William Wallace.
did you consider they are leaving coz how you are playing ! i can solo everything in the game no dramas but often playing with others i get close to or actually get killed mainly when ranged users steal all the wounds ! their is a lot that goes into playing co op well in mon hun and tbh the wound system makes wilds one of the worst to play multiplayer!
the game often crashed on me hahaha so if I accidentally leave mid game, thats my game crashing 😂

Wait.. People kick people? Really?! Oh wow! I've carted a few times and i've had people cart too. I really don't mind. I've also failed hunts where i've carted or not carted. I really don't mind either. Let's go again!

When this hunt initially started. Whilst me and some other player was fighting the other monster. A third player triggered a flash on the monster then insta-left the hunt. If by choice or crash, who knows! Whatever happened made the monster also leave the map. Why? Who knows.
First time it's happened to me. My little chicken was running around in circles. The monster we were due to hunt seemingly vanished. It was a 2 monster hunt. We spent a while hunting the first monster. I did indeed cart because hey. I suck. Someone happily or not so happily carried my heavy behind. I didn't realise it had disappeared but people kept joining/leaving and eventually after running around trying to find it, realised what happened and left myself.

capcom should enable the SOS signal again so that kicked ppl can still have fun and get some help from real players instead of NPCs
OP and posts pointing out the potential it's a DC/Crash are both good points. I truly hope the issues the game has are worked on with each patch, not just title updates so we can sorta rule out the crashing. Other than that, I agree that people should just see the fight through to the end. For many this is their first MonHon game and I hope they continue to enjoy it and possibly check out some of the older ones.

With that said, the only ones I disagree with seeing are people that come into a hunt then leave after having said they are looking for Gold Crowns. THAT is one thing I find annoying and I am in the middle of crown farming myself. If ya join a hunt and can fight(even if ya get carted out) then do it. Don't just join, spam some shoutout about crown hunting then leave when you see it's not a crown while EVERYONE ELSE is fighting like normal.

I'll take someone who carts out over some butthead searching for crowns and blocking others from joining the quest due to filling up a slot they don't intend to stay for.

Wait, that sounds suspicious. I've had several hunts where everyone else just up and left simultaneously, I always assumed they were in a party or something. Could it be that they kicked me instead ? lol What kind of message do you get when you are kicked ?

There were even 2 hunts back to back that this happened, on an event quest of all things. Thing is, I had just joined and was in the middle of travelling to the monster. Both cases I arived to a near-dead monster, all alone. Just trapped and moved on but wtf.

Why would you kick people in a 5 minute hunt, surely they can't be that bad. This is not a 3 hour raid where people can grief you. And even if they do, you are 5 minutes away from the next kill, why bother ? Why kick people that haven't even arrived to fight the monster ? 1k more zenny after the hunt, because you are now 3 instead of 4 people (lol and pathetic if that's the case) ? Why not limit the party to a lower number then, we have that option in Wilds now?

You're all part of the team! We go down together. Don't leave the game!

And yes, gold crown farmers are a problem. Ran into those too, but thankfully they didn't cost us the quest.
It's the servers, people are just being disconnected all the time. It happens to my friends every 20-40 minutes on this garbage game. You join a hunt, 5 minutes in, gone, both still fighting the same monster but you're out of the group. It's just the game disconnecting people because of poor networking and other problems inherent in capcom games.
